Walking all the way around False Creek from Yaletown to the Granville Island Public Market is world class. The path itself is so well maintained and landscaped--there's even a waterfowl lake where you can see an entire flock of ducks land at the same time--but also the unbeatable city views and mild weather. Then you can eat at the public market, do you weekly grocery shopping there, and carry it all back on the Aquabus for water views. A great way to spend part of your weekend, whether you live in Vancouver or are just visiting.

After Stanley Park, this has to be the best walks in Vancouver. A must if you are visiting the city. It can easily take over 3 hours to do a complete tour but you can stop for food and drinks at Granville Island or many other restaurants and eateries along the way.

Love the market particularly the shop selling bread and flowers. Bought a donut and a coffee, sat and watched the ferries went by while taking in the view of Burrard Bridge. Seagulls are a nuisance as they "robbed" my donut. Enjoyed the fella who played music across from the market. Must go on a weekday because it is impossible to find parking. Love the stroll along the "creek". Enjoyed every moment. 3 hour parking is not enough.

I attended a banquet at a sportsplex as part of a conference in Vancouver. The view with lights was incredible!

Name rings very true. This is not a Creek! Great area, Lots of little restaurants, shops and places to explore. Go explore Science World. Fantastic for the kids. Dragon Boat racing can also be viewed as there are local meets in this area.

Best kept secret I almost hate to share as it might become popular...the aqua bus is fun and neat way to see the inner harbour and downtown and quite reasonable for the whole ride.

False Creek has many different areas and faces. I particularly enjoy the south side from Granville Island Market out to the Cambie Bridge. The region is full of restaurants, artisan shops, boat tours and hundreds of moored yachts. There is always something happening, and it is a great place for people watching. Check it out on a sunny day.

I am fortunate enough to live in this part of the world...so I have had the pleasure of paddling False Creek many time before. There is so much to see from wildlife to the marina life to the seawall action to the cityscape to the other paddlers. Stanley Park to Science World to the Maritime Museum. So much to do from Granville Island to any number of places where you can slip out of the kayak and get onto the seawall. If you have 3-4 hours to explore False Creek and 5-6 to explore Stanley Park, English Bay and False Creek I would highly recommend renting a kayak and doing so.

All along the seawall from downtown through Stanley Park through the west end and around False Creek, it's a stunning walk especially on a sunny day. Granville Island (best visited by small seabuses) is a treat.

Great place to be in Vancouver. If you are walking along the seawall there are many options to grab an aqua bus (like a water taxi) to get you to a different spot like Science World or Granville Island market or the Acquarium. So much to see and do.

False Creek is just that, an inlet from the sea around which was once an industrial area cleaned up and converted to the Expo site (year?) and now rehabilitated to high rise residential buildings. A pleasant walk along the promenade takes one past low rise and intimate apartments, parks and yummy yachts alongside marinas. turn back towards the city on Davie St and visit the old railway roundhouse and museum accommodating the first locomotive into Vancouver on the Canadian Pacific. Typically, this area was largely railroad lands and warehouses in the early days. or double back to Granville island on one of the ferries

From Burrard st. to Quebec st. the loop is 8km. Great for a run, especially early in the morning. On the way you pass by Granville island, telus world of science and edgewater casino. The view is awesome.

Good way to see some of city from a different prospective. Good value for money. Relaxing way to chug up and down the creek hopping on and off at the likes of the science museum, Yaletown and Gandville Island.

What a great way to see a lot and not drag your car along with you! We love the water anyhow, but the sightseeing is terrific, too. Still have many routes we haven't taken...
