Sole purpose of visiting Montague Harbour Marine Park was to see the 'Sunset'.It never disappointed us! :)

Our group of six were actually staying at the excellent Galiano Inn and Spa, but we took a day trip, first to the - absolutely don't miss the view of Active Pass - Bluffs, and then to Montague Harbour and Provincial Park. Stunning location for camping and boating. We particularly enjoyed the white shell beach at the park. Before leaving we had an excellent lunch on the pier at the (seasonal) Sea Blush Cafe. It was excellent and the interesting and tasty food, friendly service, location and view really added to the experience. You don't have to camp at Montague Harbour to enjoy it. Make sure you don't miss it.

We have moored nearby at Montague Marina and spend our days walking the trails or hanging out at one of the several beaches in the park. This looks like a great place to camp, clean and well laid out. The beaches are either sand or shells (location is a former Native midden) water is cold but I guess you can't have it all, the site is beautiful. Also just a short 15 min walk to the marina, restaurant and a general store where you can get ice cream!
