I noticed that the park had no reviews so decided to head down after work and walk around the park. The park is that, a park, sitting on the edge of the port, looking out over the water. As it was supper time, the smells coming out of nearby Cargo were distracting to my pre-supper self, and the day was cloudy, though not actually raining. A memorial wall, several plaques and other memorials, there's not much here other than a bench, picnic tables, washrooms, and a play park. You can watch the sea, read the plaques, eat if you brought something with you, or read a book at one of the benches or tables. The Kazu Maru looks quite interesting, and I like the design of the enclosure, but I sort of wish they had gone with smooth plastic instead of the chain link fence, as it makes it hard to see the boat. Nothing major, but a good place to take young kids to play for a while, I suppose.
