I really enjoyed our visit to this train museum. I got to see a lot of engines and rolling stock that I had never seen. The antique cars and truck were awesome. I did enjoy the phones display. I would like to come back to ride the little train some day.....

Took my granddaughter and we had a wonderful day. Lots to see and imagining what it must of been like back in the day. Awesome exhibits too. Take a picnic and enjoy the park

Went with my sister and my 13 year old nephew on a Friday afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of trains to board. There were so many to choose from and lots of cupboards and nooks and crannies to explore. It was an inexpensive way to spend our time. There was a place to have picnics should you want to in the summer. It was only six bucks no extras for hot dogs or chips or pop. How refreshing.

This museum is fantastic for family photos and just really cool to wander around in. I especially liked the snowplow engine.

Good value and plenty to see. Access to inside of carriages allowed you to see what travel conditions were like in the past.Yes it is a pity most of the stock is outside in the open and so being ravaged by the weather, but unless someone has got say a million bucks to give them to build shelters or hundred of volunteers step forward to help out, then I guess it will stay that way....old cars, trucks and industrial equipment also on display.

This is a great attraction for children and those old time railway nostalgia buffs. Has many railway cars that you can tour thru , and a small souvenir store. Also has an old telephoneand telegraph display. Plus snow plows that were pushed by engines. Great way to pass a couple of hours. There is a riverside park 1/2 block away which has several trails for walking.

This museum was not very impressive. It is probably fun for kids, because you can ride the mini train.

This is a great display. go on board several different kinds of railway cars. After 50 years I finally got to go into two different styles of caboose. An absolute must for anyone, especially families. I hop to revisit in the future. Make sure you have your camera and take a ride on the model railway. Staff very informative and friendly. two thumbs up on this one and thank you to the society for your hard work in preserving this part of Canada's history.

Enjoyed the train ride. Great family day. Even better if you have a membership directly or affiliated.

For a small fee ($5) you get a lot. (Make sure you get your 'Raven' Booklet from the information booth in town as there's a 2 for 1 entrance coupon!) Lots of historic photos of the logging and building of the railway. Tons of train cars and the really cool 'Russell Plow' which is made of wood and used to clear snow. You can climb up into the cars so kids would love it as well. Great fun!

It's super for railroad buffs and a great place to take kids to run around outside. Lots of history.

We went to the museum this time for Christmas. It was light up with Christmas lights and the miniature train was running taking you around the site and back in time. Great exhibit for children as the get to climb on the trains and explore.

I wish I would have done this review a little earlier. Before Christmas my wife and I went to see the "Christmas village display". If you ever get the chance to see it GO. Every December someone put together a huge display of mini buildings complete with trains, lights, and everything else one could think of when building a small town. What a delight to see. Also the staff was so kind.

After just been to a fantastic rail museum in Duluth, this was a letdown. Basically like a graveyard for trains. It could be good if they put some care into it. Clean the trains at least!
