Lovely place to walk, bike ride, horseback ride or run. We love the beauty and peacefulness. Do be careful when riding as the gravel surface can be a bit tricky. Also do not lick your valuables in the car. Theft from vehicles is rampant here.

A very underdeveloped regional park, good series of walking/biking and horseback riding. 1 minute from the parking lot and you are in a different world. This is an enjoyable park to traverse through the different trails and get away for an hour or two.

Loved the trail system here for trail running. You can choose some good hill climbs or take it easy on moderate trails. The scenery is beautiful

I have been enjoying this park for decades. It is large enough that you can keep going from one trail to the next to get a really good hike in, but if you choose you may pick one of the shorter loops. It has a fenced, off leash area for dogs and other areas for horse riders. There are trails with hills steep enough to get your heart pounding and others that are flat -- something for everyone. I enjoy this park in every season as the appearance is always changing.

Absolutely love this park and luckily live within walking distance .... Have two small adventurous dogs who love to walk the trails at the Aldergrove Park. There are lots of water taps throughout the park so if I carry my little travelling waterbowl for them, it's easy to get them a drink halfway rund. Great trails, few small hills but most are easily manoeuverable. Great to see the equestrians on their horses .... gave mine up a few years ago so always happy to be close to them.

I grew up in this community and spent many weekends walking the dog in the woods, biking the trails, swimming in the 'lake', kicking the soccer ball in the fields, and pic nicking under the shelters. Aldergrove Lake Park is a perfect place to get into nature with your family and friends. I gave it four stars since there are many activities you can do. It only lost a star because it isn't very big compared to Provincial parks (of course!). If you are interested in spending time in the woods, getting away from the town or the farms, Aldergrove Lake Park is a perfect place to go.
