JessicaWe are always grateful to receive feedback. Yes we are a young new winery and we have so many plans for the future of Privato Vineyard and Winery so do stay tuned. We regularly offer vine to wine tours where we explain how the wine really begins it's journey "In the Vineyard". We do plan to always remain a small boutique winery to enable myself and John to always be hands on not only with making the wine but personally enjoying each of our visitors to the tasting room. That's what really makes having our own winery so much fun!We pride ourselves on making very small quantities of single vineyard burgundy wines. Accordingly our compliment of wines will always be limited to Chardonnay wines both Oaked and Unoaked and Pinot Noir including a Grande Reserve that will not be released for well over a year. Almost all of our wine is aged in French Oak barriques that come directly from the oak forests in France. Our grapes are all hand picked and are cropped back heavily each year. It is these steps and many more that contribute to the exquisite wine that we are endeavouring to craft and for which our wine aficiondos are seeking. We have been gratefully rewarded with Awards from wine judges across Canada for both our Chadonnay and Pinot Noir wine.Wine is an incredibly personal experience which is why the industry is so exciting and enjoyable for everyone. We are all seeking to see, taste and experience many new and different wines. Each of our tastes is as different as we are from one another and thankfully there is wine out there for everyone!The business of winemaking is a long arduous but rewarding process. We are very grateful to be blazing the trail along with Harper Trails for many more new wineries to join us in Kamloops. Together we endeavour to make Kamloops even better than it already is.
