Just want to say to anyone that is looking for something unique & fun to do for the day is to take a day trip to Bowen Island, Vancouver-BC! It is such a inexpensive day out for a family or couple. Their are some very cute shops to brose thru when you first come off the ferry-within walking distance from ferry & that's why a lot of people choose to just be walk on passengers. After a day of just lounging around the marina & strolling thru the shops you have a few choices for eating. The restaurants look nice along the main strip but we brought our car with us which by the way I highly recommend for the first time so you can drive around the island which is very scenic. We saw lots of deer & just breathtaking ocean views. We ended up eating at the Bowen Island golf course-we gave the staff & food two thumbs up! Also we found the people extremely nice! I met this very talented photographer along my travels. He had his work displayed during Bowen Island's Steamship Days. Anyone that wants to see Awesome photography look up Keith Craig!
