Take a stroll around this designated Heritage Conservation Area set in the marvellous rural countryside. The brick homes which housed the employees, the village store, church and school are still standing. Great for a leisurely, easy stroll after a visit to Lepp's Farm Market and/or the Village Store. To help find your way through the Village, a map is available on the website or complimentary "Walking Tour Brochures" are available at the interpretive signs located at the right road front corner of Clayburn Road park. We have visited many times and always enjoy it. Highly recommended!

I visit Clayburn a few times a year, usually meet a friend for lunch, and then a stroll through the community. Lots of interesting older houses from when the village provided housing for the brick factory. Old school also has some interesting events. The scale-built model of the old Clayburn Brick factory & village is really interesting (check hours when it is open). The volunteers are very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful.

A great little flash back in time. Good food, service and ambience...not to mention the store sells old-fashioned candy.

Clayburn Villege Store is a wonderful little place to relive your childhood candy obsessions (especially those from the British Isles), pick up some yummy oils or dips, and have a refreshing cup of tea. We regularly stop in for treats with our children, but you've got to be ready for busy. It's a popular spot! There's a good chance you'll be rubbing elbows with other guests because it's not a big store, but everyone is always in good spirits. We've only had lunch on the cafe side a few times. It was pleasant and certainly full of character. It's a bit out of the way from the rest of Abbotsford, so don't be surprised by the remote location. Take a walk around the gorgeous little area.

We loved the location, the friendly, helpful people and the gorgeous scenery. The museum curator is a real cool dude - 92 years young! And our B & B hosts were most helpful!

We love going to see the country store in the Clayburn Village. The imported candies are something to see. There are enough choices for everyone. And we love the decor... especially the old tin ceiling.

Great place to visit. Love the candy store with retro and imported candies and other goodies. Other crafts nearby.

Is a "Walton"s like" blast from the past experience. The candy store plus other childhood memories stirs up warmth & fun. The food is fun - lovely to go with a girl friend for a most feminine time - or, entire family for a fun experience. Yes, is an unforgettable moment for all!

To a place where cell phone conversations are not allowed in the restaurant to allow others to enjoy a peaceful dining experience. The food is good, and so is the service, while you enjoy looking at a variety of General Store artifacts from decades ago. Check out the many delicacies and treats available... So much to enjoy!

Don't expect a cheap meal here, but you will enjoy a wonderful lunch or afternoon tea. I always enjoy delights such as the ploughman's lunch and the sticky toffee pudding. The soups are also nearly always excellent. The shop has lots of goodies also. I enjoy a number from the UK (at least those the CFIA still lets us eat), but they also have some from other European countries.

They have wonderful homemade soups that you can have fresh and they also have them frozen to take home, which I really enjoy! It's a quaint little old fashioned type store with a lot of charm. I Really enjoy it as a special day out. The owners are pleasant and get a bunch of treats and goodies that they bring back from their home town back in England.

Very cool little village that is really worth checking out if you have the time. There are a few shops to visit and enjoy an afternoon. Also be sure to check out the old brick factory foundations (there's even an old tunnel that's still intact).
