I was extremely excited to bring my kids to check out the dairy. They had 4 or 5 different animals to look at. Their ice cream was average and for a dairy, I was very disappointed as they usually have amazing ice cream. I also found their store to be highly overpriced, although their spicy pepperoni is delicious!

If the weather is clear and you like ice cream this is a great place to go. They close early so go in the afternoon

The drive up there was lovely and things were set out well but that's where the positives ended. Everything was so overpriced, the staff seemed disinterested and animals looked depressed. Would love to visit Abbotsford again but won't be going back here.

In partnership with Science World this is a great place for children and adults alike to visit a one-of-a-kind demonstration farm. It promotes agriculture, science and technology, education and inspires future innovation in the agricultural sector. From goats on the roof, a free farm animal exhibit, a park and picnic area to great ice cream, Bakerview is a regular outing for our family. Need organic fruit & vegetables, local produce and products, meat/fish or a wide range of gluten-free products? Nature's Pickins Farm Market is onsite to serve your needs. Lots of parking and easy access: close to Highway 1 on Highway 11 (Sumas Way).

Our family was looking for some fun things to do during a rainy week, and decided to check out this place. We are so happy we did! Not only are the displays top-notch for being fun and informative and interactive (you get to stick your finger in an actual milker suction thingy and it works!! and you weigh your whole family on a scale to see which animal you weigh the closest to, for example), we also had a tour guide who helped us to enjoy every part of it. There is opportunity to see and touch the cows (and other cute animals too!), and to watch an incredible robot milker in action. Then you get a free ice cream! And the store on site is filled with fantastic items, I wanted to buy them all. And everywhere we went, everyone was so friendly! They even gave us a free coupon to come back because we happened to come at the same time as a huge tour group of kids, and they felt bad for us!

Very interesting place to bring the kids. Get to see goats and sample the milk. The cost for items is a bit on the high side. Farm fresh veggies and fruit for purchase as well.

The setting is beatitful, Mount baker is looms in the background. The tour through the milk barn is very informative and to say the least entertaining. The store has changed management now so while still pricey it's getting a little more reasonably. The staff was great

The ride out is picturesque. The setting is charming- appears to be family run- prices are high- There a number of similar operations around - Find the drawing card that can set you apart as there is room for improvement-some of the staff are great - the others could use a talk on customer service. It will reap you benefits and help to over look the big prices.

We got free samples of milk and yogurt, very tasty. A bit pricey but well worth the taste.

The Diary has had several events that invite local artisans to share their talents that are making this market a great tourist attraction. The food inside the market is a bit pricey but a lot of it is local and all of it is delish!

A great place to show kids where their dairry products come from! I took a few students here, and they were amazed! They had never thought about where the milk products they used came from, so this was a great educational experience for them!Friendly tour gudes, and a nice place to sit outside afterwards

Although I haven't done the dairy tour, my children have and they tell me it's pretty interesting. I like the idea that the cows get to decide when they get milked instead of being prodded along and forced to like at most commercial dairies. What I really like about Bakerview is the market. They have a nice selection of natural products, not bad prices and a really nice building. If you have kids and need a stop to freshen up, this is it - great washrooms, get a light lunch, drinks. I have met friends out on the patio for lunch a few times and really enjoyed the view and walking around the garden, looking at the animals. Given that they sell so many gluten free & vegan products in the market, I wish they had more to choose from for lunch, I'd probably go there more often if they did....but as of last time I was there, I still couldn't get soy creamer/milk for coffee. A "real" coffee bar would be a great addition there.

We went with my sister and her 3 teenagers who originally didn't like the idea of going to the farm. At the end, they all enjoyed the visit. We tried their Vitala milk and it is different than the regular milk, It's very cool to see the robotic milker. We were lucky to see two cows being milked in a short span of time. We were given a tour of the farm even though we were a small group of 7. The lady is fabulous and obviously passionate about Ecodairy.

This is the most amazing dairy farm on the planet. The technology is lightyears ahead of anything in North America.
