It might be a little off the main road but you can be back on the 101 highway in about ten minutes.High on the hill overlookng the Minas Basin is the best place for lunch in many a mile.Outside dining right in the vineyard where the food and drink is superb.

Quite a bit off the beaten track, so I recommend you go with one of the tours that visit. Nice food, wine of course. Great views, nice shaded minimalist patio. The food offerings are good, but a little light, expect to leave hungry but happy. Hard to feel closer to being in the centre of a vineyard, you can almost hear the grapes growing. A little heavier menu would be nice, but then they would probably need a bigger patio. Difficult but not impossible for a wheelchair.

We stopped here for lunch in August and had a most enjoyable afternoon. We were seated outside by Mr. Luckett himself, and had a wonderful view all the way down to the water.The lunch selection was good as was the food. The wine was great.They have a shop to buy all kinds of goodies as well as, of course, their wine.Should be a stop on anyone's list if they are traveling in the Wolfville area.

Thank you for your review. We think our property is pretty special, it's hard to top that view! Next time you're here ask to see our Barrel Cellar room, that is where all of our oak barrels are stored (it also doubles as a beautiful private function room). Hope to have you back again!

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that our plastic glasses used for the complementary welcome wine detracted your experience with us.Unfortunately last year we had in excess of 400 wine glasses misplaced while they were being used to greet large bus groups with their welcome wine, and with that type of continued loss we would no longer be able to provide a complimentary wine which is not something we would like to consider, therefore the plastic glasses were out best option to continue our complimentary wine program.All of the tasting flights done at our tasting bar, or wine ordered in our bistro are served in glasses, it is only the welcome wine (for large bus groups) that is served in the plastic glasses.Please rest assure we do recycle.

Thank you for your review! We have been lobbying for years to have that road fixed (without success so far), keep your fingers crossed for us! As you mentioned our winery is extremely busy on the weekends, which is something we are very proud of, however, it can get overwhelming for people who are looking for something a little quieter. We suggest for those looking to avoid the crowds in the future to try visiting with us on a Mon-Wednesday.We look forward to having you back!
