I have never rode a horse and I was scared of them! It was amazing .... Well trained horses who do not pass your comfort level! Tyler was awesome at answering the many questions! Definitely will be back!

Recently re-visiting my home Nova Scotia, from Toronto I was looking for a memorable activity for my mother, sister, closest friend and fiancée. That's an odd mix of people but I decided I would take us horse back riding because my closest friend adores it and it was an aspiration of younger sister. Most importantly I just plain wanted to go and I had to convince my fiancée horses are cool because they are and I want some when we move back to Nova Scotia. I was advised to call The Lords Ranch Ministry, so I did and expressed the interest of tacking the horses as well. Lisa with no hesitation allowed us to come earlier and tack the horses. It was an amazing experience and really allowed us to get to know all of her extremely well mannered horses and to know just how special each of them are. All of the saddles, helmets and gear is all in excellent condition and she has this all ready for each participant. On the trail the scenery was absolutely stunning and the horses couldn't have behaved any better. The whole time Lisa was amazing at educating us about horse behaviour, care , training and everything and anything we had questions about. With the help of Lisa and her well mannered horse Eli my fiancée did fall in love with horses and horse back riding and we have plans to now someday own horses of our own. When I re-visit Nova Scotia in the summer I will defiantly be going back and I would recommend couples, families, groups and well everyone to go to The Lords Ranch Ministry.

I brought my daughter for a daddy daughter date and we had a blast. A great family experience with a friendly atmosphere.

Took a friend here riding for her very first time. She took Halle and I took my old buddy Scruffy. We had so much fun! I will definitely be going back, and will be taking another friend/first-time rider with me. (and it won't be quite as long between visits this time).

was very pleased with our horseback ride! we'll be going back again for sure :)the horses were beautiful and very well mannered ... we went as a couple, but i would also recommend this as a fun family outing ... Terri

My younger sister and I went out for a trail ride today and we had an amazing time!! The Lords Ranch Ministry is a beautiful place and I have already made plans to go back with my younger daughter :) The people, horses, equipment and trails were perfect and beautiful as well! Everyone was happy to see us and welcomed us in. The horses were beautiful and well taken care of. I really don't think our time there could have been any better spent. Thank you to everyone for the amazing evening!

Went to The Lords Ranch Ministry and had an amazing time! Just wanted a nice, relaxing, fun-filled day with some of my closest friends and it hit the spot. Lisa, along with everyone else, was so amazing and welcoming which really made for a great experience. I can't praise this place enough, prices are super fair, not to mention they go to a great cause and we made future plans even before we had left! WONDERFUL!

Had such a fun day with the" Lord's Ranch Ministry " trail ride. These horses steal a part of your heart. The trails through the woods are wonderful. I am so looking forward to another visit. Thanks to Lisa, Amanda, and little Allie who were great!

The Lords Ranch Minestry is a truly amazing place. From the moment I showed up there to check things out I felt welcome and truly blessed to meet such wonderful people. Two days later we were back to help work where we learned how to feed the animals, groomed the horses and got to tack them up. We then went on a trail ride which was absolutely amazing! The horses were gorgeous and so well behaved. We had a great time and many laughs. As I said I am truly blessed to have met Lisa and Amanda. They are great people and I cant wait to go back and spend time with them and the animals!Thanks again, Stacey :)

What an awesome experience! My sister, cousin and I went for the first time and what a delight Lisa and Amanda were. Not to mention, the sweet horses that have been given a second chance at life just warm right up to you. The trails are beautiful and the experience was just wonderful. Thanks to sweet little Ally (hope I spelt your name right) who gave us so much wonderful information about all the horses and chickens. A sweet delight to meet you!We will definitely be back!!!

Our family went horseback riding on beautiful trails in Kingston N.S. We had an excellent time and it was alot of fun,we will do it again sometime for sure.My daughters had been asking to go horseback riding for a while and I wish we would have gone sooner,it was something we could all do and enjoyed doing as a family. The people were great and very helpful and pleasant,and Lisa made sure my youngest was okay on a horse as she had never been riding before so she gave her a buddy for a little while,she was younger than my daughter and that was great for her to have someone close to her age to help her out.The horses were beautiful and laid back and well taken cared of. Beautiful Place to go!!

Why not go back to this place!The people here are amazing!You don't leave the ranch until you feel comfortable with your horse, they make you feel so welcomed! The horses are so loving and well cared for and they know the way around the trails! Its so peaceful and enjoying! A way to lift your spirits on a bad day, and a way to enjoy each others company when you need to have quality time!!I would very much recommend this place to anyone if they asked me about it!

I went with my mother for a trail ride here because we both love horses. When we first started out I was quite nervous on my horse as I have almost zero experience on horseback. I chickened out and didn't want to finish the ride. At the end of the scheduled ride, once the other riders had gone, Lisa offered me to hop on a different, smaller horse and have a little lesson in the ring. I was VERY comfortable on this smaller horse and had a good time in the ring. Then she took me out on the trail to ride with her. Just the two of us. I was very pleased that she didn't let me leave disappointed about the ride, and that she took her own personal time to give me a great experience and make sure I was comfortable with horses. Since the first experience, I have been back to ride. I plan on going back to ride quite often. My mother also had a blast, and is looking forward to visiting again !! The environment is friendly, warm, and welcoming. If you like horse and have lots of experience or NONE at all, I would highly recommend you give this place a visit. Beautiful horses ! :)

Myself, my two teenage boys and my sister came to Greenwood to visit my dad and mom. Because I used to horseback ride as a kid, my dad booked the four of us for horseback riding at the Lords Ranch Ministry. We were all hesitate to go because my sons had never ridden and my sister and I hadn't been on a horse for a good 10 years. Lisa and Amanda made us feel comfortable and welcome right away. They gave us horses compatible with our experience which went a long way to helping us enjoy the ride that much more. The trail we went on was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Lisa and Amanda were amazing hosts and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Ladies, you have a wonderful place and your hospitality was second to none! Best of luck! And for those of you thinking of going horseback riding while in the Kingston area, I would highly recommend this lovely place!

Took 4 kids ranging from experienced to no experience with me for a trail ride and we all had a great time. The horses were really sweet and calm and seemed to enjoy the ride through the woods as much as we did! Our first trip there but most definitely not our last!
