Great place for a picnic. No overnights. Outhouses and change houses. Two water taps. Narrow beach with some white sand. Short board walk to the shore.

This park has a large grassy area, perfect for picnics or ball games. The slope down to the ocean is fairly gentle and easy to navigate. When the tide is out, you can walk quite far. The water is shallow for quite a ways out, so it's a nice safe beach for little ones, too. Good for shells and not bad for sea glass. We vist oftenAmple parking, change rooms, and clean running water.

Wonderful place in the fall with wild apple trees (lots of free organic fruit!), nature trails and the beach & park to explore & enjoy picnic with family/friends.
