I love Jack Darling. Huge difference from when I was a kid.Now there are two playgrounds and a splash pad for my neice and nephew and the water is clean enough to swim. Before I had a dog, I loved walking through the pathways and losing myself. Now that I have a dog, I go almost every weekend in the summer. We hang out in the park, then go down by the water and sometimes walk the paths. On the deadly hot days, we prefer to walk the paths as they are well shaded and cool. The leash free isn't so cool.this park has something for everyone and you can spend a whole day here easily. They even have a hot dog vendor, Dickie Dees and not sure if they still do, but there used to be a Crepe stand. But get there early especially on a holiday weekend.

This is a great spot to walk to Rattray Marsh although there is lots to see here. There is a great kids splash pad, washrooms and great views of Lake Ontario and Toronto.

Park with beach and Lake Ontario Cold for swimming I don't like that there is a fee for parking . It is difficult to get there by transit so parking fee is a money grab by the city

This park is at the bottom of my street and cars are parked in front of my house on hot summer weekends. I don't begrudge that. There is not enough parking for all those that need to escape a non air-conditioned apartment on a hot summer day. One can swim in Lake Ontario, skip the flat stones at the end of the lake, let the kiddies use the slides, swings or splash pad. One has to get there early enough to snag a barbecue. Or go for a walk in the adjacent Rattray Marsh.

When you go to Jack Darling, you are making the conscious decision to take time out of your day to go and smell sewer water. But guess what, the flowers around you, the people you see, the hot dog stands around you take those sewer smells away.

I think my first time there (or was it 3rd over 9 years - who keeps track?) was when I went to a church barbecue. The scenery is beautiful but I always give nature a positive rating.

The place is huge. Unlike most dog parks that are just a big open field this park has a trail to follow witha couple of large fields to run in. So far all the owners I have met have been very respectful and great to talk to. My dog goes nuts here and sleeps the rest of the day after so much play.

Love to go here to wander along the waterfront and enjoy the peace of nature. It is well kept and a pleasant family park that allows a quick picnic or just a relaxing walk. I love to go in fall and even winter just to walk and enjoy nature

Wonderful park for a stroll by the lake. Nice trails, very relaxing. Great dog park and water features for kids in the summer.

This is a great beach and very clean. The park has ample walking trails, play areas and a good beach. Very close to hustle and bustle of Mississauga . Good place to take a b break and to unwind. On a clear day, the view of the Toronto Skyline would be very clearly visible.

The grandchildren love this park and the splash pad there. It is on the beach (small) and there are several playground areas to be found as you walk along the shore on paved pathways

This park is everything a park should be! Nature, open spaces, children friendly and basic amenities. Additionally there's parking, but above all lakefront! Can get busy in the summer, particularly weekends. A great place for a picnic.

Had an amazing experiance on the multiple times been here with the family. Only downside is parking...finding parking, especially during the peak season of summer weekends can take up to 2 hours easily.
