The winery being part of our tour I enjoyed this place very much. Lots of tastings included, the ice wine stood out. A beautiful building and good service, the severs with lots of knowledge and a wine and tasting that will eventually please everyone in the crowd. Busy being a Saturday, I would go during the week for more attention, and maybe if your lucky, a fuller free glass of wine!

A friend recommended the place and particularly the ice wine. Given there are so may wineries to visit, it was good to have a previous personal recommendation. Karen and I aren't really in to wine but we found the shop interesting (we did not go on the tours). We did buy a few itemsThe gem for us was lunch. We enjoyed the first day so much, we cam back for lunch the next day after visiting Niagara Falls. I am sure tourists would do this anyway, but do visit Niagara on the Lake, a quaint little village

We went to Trius as part of a set of wine tasting passes given to us by our hotel. The winery was really pretty and inviting. I loved how they decorated and made the place warm and welcoming. Our server was really nice and helpful with tips on wine tasting. We have been to a few wine tastings but didn't know that some wines don't need to be swirled in the glass. She gently and politely gave us some hints without making us feel out of place! Thank you for a great experience. We will be back!

We stopped at the Winery to grab a few bottles and it was packed. I believe it was the only winery around that had a crowd. They had bon fires going outside and of course tastings inside. We always have a good time here and the wine can't be beat. The staff is always very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

A different format this year, which had many pluses. Meeting downtown at their outlet, having a Panama jack Hot Chocolate, and a nice chilly but clear evening. Then on the buses to the winery, where we relaxed and enjoyed four tasty courses, paired with appropriate selections of wine. Chef Frank Dodd, loves to experiment (play) with flavours, some become his go to tastes, but still others he tries, and always seems to succeed. Again Chef nailed his dinner, and his wine assistant catered perfectly to our wine requirements. This was of course a once a year event, but anytime a meal in the area, is in your schedule, I'm sure the winery restaurant would love to cater to your taste buds. Never been disappointed at Trius.

She was young but so knowledgeable and fun and friendly. We learned so much. Thanks to her professionalism I have a new respect and knowledge for a variety of wines. I highly recommend the sparking wine tour. If you buy anything - the ice wine is a must!

Fantastic ice wine tasting. A few great cabernet red wines as well. Niagara is generally more expensive to purchase wine than the rest of the province but most of the prices here were more affordably close to prices in liquor stores. Take the tour but you will have to drive yourself so take care...

The wines here are quite good and a fair price point for the quality. The only knock we have is the tasting bar is always crazy busy. We've been several times throughout the year and it doesn't seem to matter- it's always the same. It's sometimes 4 deep to get in to and the staff are friendly, but in no hurry to assist. Only go if you have time and patience to fight crowds.

I recently went on a Niagara weekend with a few of my close girlfriends. We wanted to try something new and haven't been to a winery tour before so decided to check it out! I looked up a few wineries in the Niagara area and Trius caught my eye! The photos I saw showed that it had beautiful architecture and the vineyard looked lovely! We decided to book a tour / tasting for a Sunday morning at 12:00. I did have to prepay over the phone when I booked and when we arrived, there was a mistake and we ended up being scheduled for a much later time, but once it was straightened out the rest of the day went smoothly. First, our guide took us to a lookout over the vineyards and it was a sunny day so the view was excellent! Then we went down and walked around the vineyard. We went into the wine cellars after and saw where the wine sits in barrels and where the walls of champagne are. The inside of the wine cellar is gorgeous with rustic wood interior and pretty lights hanging down. The last stop was our tasting! Every one of the wine's we tried tasted great! We each tried a red, white and ice wine. Overall it was a very well organized tour and I enjoyed it!

Very friendly staff. The tasting room was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Four of us were wine tasting. They have a nice selection of whites, reds, and dessert wines. Patrick took great care of us.-he even made us a "blushing Canadian" to try since it was our first trip. Would love to try the restaurant if we ever are in the area again.

Got to take a 40 minute tour of the Winery and of the vineyards. A good amount of of information to take in but wish we would have been able to see more of the vineyards, but it was picking season so the trucks were out. The process is interesting on how they make the different types of wine. Got to taste a red, white and an ice wine at the end. I'm an Ice Wine convert now!

We stopped by Trius after enjoying their wines at the tasting room in downtown NOTL. We dined at the restaurant, which was good and had nice service but had a really limited menu. We also took the sparkling tour, which was very nice and informative. We could not however get anywhere near the tasting bar. It was just a mass of people. The grounds are lovely. It was just a more corporate, crowded environment than we would have enjoyed. I think if you don't go at peak times, you may have a better experience. Do yourself a favor though and check out the tasting room in NOTL. Staff is great and very informative about the wines. We were pleasantly surprised! I preferred their sauv blanc to many others in the area.
