The museum is very interesting, i'm sure people from 2- 102 would enjoy this if they have the smallest interest in aviation. you can easily spend a couple of hours, kids can sit in various planes while you take their photo, we had a great time.

It is a nice aircraft collection, well laid out. But it is small, plan on only a couple of hours to visit. In summer you can see an active runway, in winter not so much. There other buildings but they are not accessible to the public.Overall, an OK value.

We were three children (ages 6,7 and 8) and all enjoyed the morning walking around. There were many things to explore. Different areas just for the kids to ride, build, color etc. They had engineering students volunteering to assist the children. My husband loved it too. It is a must see for all ages. Already planning a second visit soon.

Anyone remotely interested in aviation needs to see this place. It is very large with over 200 planes in the collection. Aside from the main building, they also offer tours of the storage hangar. The guides are very friendly and informative. During our visit, there were a lot of very small children visiting with school groups, but for a more quite visit, I'd recommend Thursday evenings - the only evening the museum is open late.

Beautiful location, accessible from bike path, attractive presentation of old and new planes of all kind. Kids can climb and touch, well worth the visit

Our Aviation and Space museum is one that can be enjoyed time and again. we have visited often and enjoy the fact that I, as a retired member of the forces, do not pay the entrance fee. Nevertheless the fee is well worth it for families as there are always displays and for this recent event we watched a unique event where local choirs played out the historic even when the soldiers on both sides of the conflict of the first world war put down their weapons to celebrate Christmas eve. History tells us that this did happen because the soldiers on both sides never assumed that the conflict would last as long as it did. The commemoration was well done and we will attend it again perhaps as participants. What a superb venue for all ages and you never get enough of it.

Very interesting collection of Canadian aircraft from the first powered aircraft the SILVER DART to the DEHAViILLAND DASH 7 built in Toronto. You have the opportunity to sit in a Lancaster WW 2 aircraft and a school program for the children to learn about our place in space. The museum offers a sleep over program under the planes which is great . There are also aircraft outside to view . For the adventurous there are biplane rides and the opportunity to fly a plane in a flight simulator. We enjoyed our day!

We had a good visit to the museum where they have a large variety of planes. We spent a several hours with our teenage son. The museum also has lots of activities for families with younger children.

You can see many planes all at once from every generation. They are in great shape. Since it's a large hanger, you can go through the exhibit quickly and just look at the planes or you can spend all day reading about each plane. Fun for the whole family.

I visit here frequently with the kids (ages 2 and 4) as we have a family membership. There's plenty to keep them busy and there are many interesting plane and space-related exhibits that will be of interest to adults. Look out for the difficult to play space kitchen game, which is popular with kids, as are the open cockpits that are fun for them to play in. On some days, there are special activities (drawing, arts and crafts, planes that allow the kids to move around the wing and rudder flaps, etc.). The cafeteria is quite small and doesn't have a whole lot of food on offer. We usually bring our own lunch and have it there. Parking is not free unfortunately, even for members.

Well located, easy access, this museum in very interesting with many planes to look at. It is also possible to visit a second building were they are restoring old airplanes or airplanes that are too large for the main building.

We took our grandsons (10,6) for a second time. They love it and it was them who chose it for our family day outing. They were screaming with excitement when we said 'yes'. The museum has a tremendous aviation display of aircraft from earliest to modern times. There are several cockpits you can climb into and three flight simulator game kiosks that kids love to have fun with (and some dads), and there are tours and activities and presentations/demonstrations throughout the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful although they usually hang out right near the entrance so if you're looking for someone you've got to go there. Unfortunately the space portion is very small in a smallish room. The prices are similar to other museums and the family rate of $30 is reasonable. Parking can be a bit of a problem as the parking lot nearest the entrance is rather small for such a large museum. There's a second parking lot but it's a bit of a hike behind another building. The boys love coming here and it's very interesting for us 'older' boys and girls too.

Janice did a great job with the 9 children involved in the party, providing a tour of the airplane section, constantly talking to the children while handling the "misadventures" that go with 9 kids, including the dressing of the kids in airplane uniforms and hats. The ice cream birthday cake decoration was also very well done. The many airplanes on display vary in age from pre WW1 through to F18. Bring your camera as there are many excellent photo opportunities.

We used to go there all the time when I lived there. Lots to see and do for one day, with a real airport behind it.
