Decided since it was a bit warmer out today I would go for a walk. All the side walks are not snow covered and salted very nicely at bayfront. Scenery is beautiful! Very well taken care of place to visit even on the winter! Everyone is so friendly on the trail and says hi!! Totally recommend!

A beautiful waterfront park with hiking trails and access to Hamilton Bay for boating and fishing. Lots of free parking and washrooms. Plan to have dinner at Hutch's Fish & Chips.

We saw Bayfront Park first from our hotel window. Easy to get to by car and despite the ambient temperature and the breeze off the water, the park was a lovely place for a morning walk.

At the Waterfront we visited Williams Coffee Cafe. We enjoyed our stay. The service was great with an acceptable selection from the memu. We also were able to use the snack bar (burgers, hotdogs, oinion rings and fries). This was a great favorite for the grand childeren. They also took the trolley ride to see the trail and the harbour. The play area also entertained the junior members of our party. The senior members were able to walk to the Haida and the surrounding area.

Good place to walk around or just sit and enjoy the waterfront. It is nice to feel close to fresh air.

What a great job the city did on the Bayfront Park. It's gardens are well manicured and the walking trails go on forever. One reviewer mentioned the geese ... and yes that is unfortunate however hard to get around. There are many beautiful parks all around North America that are invaded by geese who leave their gifts all over the lawns. Not sure what they can do about this issue. I certainly wouldn't let that stop me from bringing my family here. It's a gorgeous setting. We stopped at Hutch's for fish and chips before leaving the area. It is definitely worth the visit with your family.

Grab your bike and ride along the waterfront trail to Bayfront Park. Plenty of room to spread out the picnic blanket and enjoy a fish n' chips dinner from Hutches or pack along some of the delicious fall produce from your local market. Either way, enjoy the warmth of the sun and the gorgeous blue sky as you watch the sail boats taking advantage of our wonderful weather.

the park is covered in goose poop every where, you can't even take a nice pair of roller blades because they will get recked. not kept clean and to many geese every where and the lake is nasty

I am fortunate enough to live very close to this amazing park. A wonderful place to walk, sit, read, fish. Pedestrian paths are flat and well taken care of. Spectacular views. 'Hot cars' night on Thursdays in the summer, which is fun to see and there's live music. I highly recommend many visits here.

Beautiful scenery! Lots of things to do: nice trail to bike/walk, sightseeing cruise on Harbor Queen, Trolley tour... Enjoyed the food at Williams Fresh Cafe. Have to go back and try Sarcoa Restaurant.

Bayfront really does describe this place, it's a the front of the bay, it's lovely to stroll through during a beautiful summers day!

I am always looking for interesting spots for walking and this park does not disappoint. The circuit around the park is approximately two km (according to my pedometer) and there are wonderful views of the water where people fish, children play, families take sailboats out and there are a variety of ducks, geese, some swans and other waterfowl. There is a small beach with volleyball net although swimming is not recommended due to water quality and there are no life guards. The park connects to the TransCanada Trail going west. There are lots of benches located around the park, some in shaded areas where you can just sit and relax. On the hottest days of summer in downtown Hamilton it is markedly cooler by the water with a cool breeze blowing on you.
