forfar cheese factory

This factory/store is no longer a co-operative, sadly, but the cheese is still first rate. They have five-year-old cheddar, as well as many other types of cheese at reasonable prices. They also have sauces and handicrafts in stock, as well as ice cream and a small area to eat it. The locally-produced baked goods were quite good, too. Finally, the curds are excellent and very squeaky.A small but very nice location, with friendly staff. Worth the drive (if you take he roué through Jasper, it's quite scenic!).
