The hiking is amazing with lots to see and a few different trails depending on what you want to see. There is nothing I didn't like while hiking through Mono Cliffs. It's a must see!

This is one of the places that I enjoy exploring the views are fantastic, the trails are easy to follow well maintained. My favourite place to take people who are just starting hiking!

I like the various trails. I choose the longer ones when I want a more challenging workout and I opt for the shorter trails when I'm just in the mood for a stroll. Mono Cliffs is a beautiful place!

The park is beautiful with easy access all year around. But there are too many hikers with big dogs without being leashed. Please, your dog might be like a 'family' to you but not for us hikers. If they bark and run into you out of nowhere it is very intimidating. Leash your dog.Also some neighbors living around the park (seems like farmers) have huge dogs unleashed.When we were hiking at night and couldnt see well, there were howling dog sounds everywhere which was pretty frightening coming from some houses around the park.Then, we encountered a huge white dog running to us, following us for 30 minutes. The owner came in his truck and told us why we are trying to kidnap their dog...no sir your dog was chasing us from nowhere.Please dog owners, be responsible!

Wide trails with a variety of loops and distances to choose from. Easy to moderate hiking, great for hikers of all ages. Good educational signage within the park that provides background on the geology and history of the park. Great fall walk.

My wife and I visited this provincial park for our annual tour of fall colours in southern Ontario and we weren't disappointed. The park is located on the Niagara Escarpment, is heavily forested and has some impressive lookout points. There are a variety of trails of varying difficulty, with plenty of parking for busy days like the Sunday that we visited. Maple trees are the dominant deciduous tree in the park and the leaves had all changed colour for the fall season, dominated by yellows and orange, and fallen leaves made a thick carpet on all the trails. There are several open meadows in the park, with thousands of milkweeds releasing their seeds on tiny little silken parachutes. This should be a great park to visit in the summer for viewing monarch butterflies as milkweed is their favourite food! We plan to return.

As another reviewer mentioned, the marking on this (and pretty much all our Provincial park trails) is quite poor. Directional signs are few and without those little things like the length of each path, or the expected time to navigate, you really just don't know where you are.The park itself is beautiful though. There are horses and mountainbikes though so you need to keep an ear open. Take a step to the side and they will typically pass with a wave or a 'thank you'. About the paths - There are some long steady climbs, rooty trails but overall, for the most part it is pretty accessible for the able-bodied.What isn't well known about this park though is that it is quite dark at night. I have used this location often for viewing and photographing the night sky. The horizon still shows light polution but if your goal is to shoot high overhead, this isn't a bad place to do it and still fairly close to the nearby city.

I love taking my family on hikes. Forces everyone back to reality and what counts. This was a beautiful hike, can't wait to do it again!

lots of different road to choose and all of them look wonderful. I like this park a lot.I just run into 2 families while I was there, so It's quite place and you can enjoy your time there.

While not as dramatic as the views from the top of the cliffs at Rattlesnake Point further south on the Niagara Escarpment / Bruce Trail, Mono Cliffs is a quieter and more pleasant place to just enjoy your time out in nature. We approached the park from the "back side" where there are trail heads that are accessible from local roads. Perhaps that helps keep us away from other people too. Of course the trail/escarpment continues a lot further north, and there are a lot of sections and trail access points, but in terms of being accessible from the GTA inside a day trip this is one of the nicest.

No dislikes, great trail variety. Most spectacular in the Fall when the leaves are at their peak. I don't mind paying for parking because it helps to maintain the trail - there are ways around it but it's not really fair - pay to play!

There are lots of wooded trails to choose from and some interesting views from the cliff face looking east, more than enough trails for one day for most of us. Take a picnic or head to the delightful pub in the village for a bite and an ale afterward!

If you like to hike, this park is totally worth it. We could have spent more time in there but didn't realize how buggy it would be in June. The cliffs were amazing to see and you were up in the trees with the birds. Even worth the drive if just out for the day!

Mono Cliffs Provincial Park is one of most beautiful, clean,well kept parks we have visited in a long time. My grand-kids love it here and we enjoy each visit, it is always on one of our summer stops
