They have lots of events during the summer to bring the family too. Great place to bring the kids! I love running on the trails too. It's beautiful and clean.

If one wishes to call a relatively stagnant pond a lake then so be it. It isn't much HOWEVER come to Jazz plus festival first weekend of Aug right next door at Newmarket Common. It is amazing ( park next door at Fairy Lake!)

A great place to go for a nice walk around the whole lake with options to make it a longer walk. A nice park for kids, and areas to sit if needed. Love it!

Everyone can enjoy a stroll, walk, jog or run in this park which has both paved and non-paved walkways. If you visit our busy, fast growing town, be sure to take an hour out of your day, park in the free parking area and enjoy!

There is a nice walking trail around the lake and a good playground for kids to play in. Occasionally they hold festivals in the park which are nice too. But, while it is the nicest park in Newmarket, it is hardly a show stopper. It's lovely, just not particularly special in the grand scheme of parks. When you tie it in with the new splash pad/Skating rink nearby, the now bustling main street food scene, and the nearby farmers market, you have an attraction worthy of a few more accolades, but not the park alone.

Been coming here for 25years had lots of memories in this park. I currently live beside Tom Taylor trail in the lofts and walk my parents dog , ride my bike, or just take a break and go for a stroll anytime day or night it's safe. Never had any issues here even traveling through the wee hours in the morning coming home from a bar or friends house. It does get busy on weekends in summer. I recommend either traveling north or south of fairy lake on Tom Taylor it has a lot less traffic. Also there is a bit of garbage lying around which is expected. If your reading this please do not litter. There are several designated garbage/recycling bins along the trail.

Eco & Artisan fairs are always worth a visit. Farmers market close by. Great wading pool & fountain for the kids. Live music on the weekends.

A great place for picnics and a nice trail along a river. A super storybook exhibit that explains how to take care of our environment

I love a walk here, so many things for kids to explore. My main concern in the spring and summer is the speed bikes travel on the paths. You have to watch constantly for the bikers who rip around the corners. The playground is a favourite spot of my grandchildren.

I enjoyed walking my dog along the walking path in the Fairy Lake Park. I am a local residence of more than 23 years, there have been a lot improvement done to the Fairy Lake Park. It is well maintained, clean and safe park for the family with young children. The BBQ area with public wash room facility is an ideal place for having a family get together picnic.

I love that I can walk for miles in this park and enjoy nature. I also spent lots of evenings at the Theatre in the park with a picnic supper before the show. Miss those.
