Just returned from the Roger Parsons Centre, and the Minden Wild Water Preserve. We are so blessed to have this facility dedicated for whitewater enthusiasts, be they athletes, or spectators. The natural beauty of the site is impressive and, when an event is underway, the action is great to watch.Just a few minutes' drive northeast of Minden, ON, you will enjoy this great attraction.God Bless.

Fast, furious water action. I love going there for the photography. Rushing water, colourful canoes and kayaks, piloted by experience make for excellent photo opportunities. The sun, coming through the trees, changing lighting conditions continually. Exciting but calming. Can't wait for the PanAm Games next year.

Fantastic spot and central to a lot of great activities in the area. Grew up here as a child, the old cottage has a view of the dam just above the rapids on Little Horse Shoe Lake and actually helped dig the drinking water well with a group from our High School Canoe Club many, many years ago on the site. Terrific memories and a terrific white water river venue for the games! Definitely not for beginners.

This site will host events at the 2015 Pan Am games. It is currently being developed ahead of the games. On a visit to the site on February 2014, I saw some early construction. Hopefully this construction does not look too unsightly upon completion. The rapids are pretty mental! Definitely only for professional kayakers and canoeists to tackle.
