We have a group of 3 who golf here one to two times a week under the membership offered. For the $19 with shared cart for 18 holes, it is hard to find a better value in golf anywhere in the London area. The scenery is wonderful, the course is very well kept, and the staff is very courteous. We will probably never commit to any other golf course as we have with Oxbow Glen. Challenging in so many ways, always a test every round.

Oxbow Glen is the best deal by far. $30 gets you 18 holes with a riding cart. A membership for $130 gets you 40% off your green fee plus 20% off your cart ($19 total for the round). The course has elevation changes, some tight holes, some strategic holes (dog legs and water placement) as well as greens that have slopes giving the average golfer a variety of challenges. The course is in pretty good shape - not as green and as well manicured as some of the top courses in the area but perfectly fine for the average player. Oxbow Glen is my local course preference for the above reasons. $75/round courses are not 2.5 x better....

My husband and I took our son out for 9 holes on the weekend and I was very surprised how much we were hassled by the staff. Oxbow Glen has a new rule this year that no one under 21 is allowed to drive their golf carts-why? It isn't like our son was with a bunch of buddies and driving recklessly-we were with him and he has driven the cart in previous years! Labelling all young golfers with the same brush because of a few irresponsible ones isn't a fair practice. The bar cart staff came around and I said no thanks but the young lady stopped and circled our cart and gave me hell for the one beer that my husband had brought with him. Really for one beer-a bit excessive in policing I think. Again, not rowdy golfers here. Next was on the fairway of the 7th hole we had staff give us hell again for driving on the fairway (I hadn't seen the sign on this hole yet saying to stay off it) He actually drove on the fairway himself just before my driving up to the sign.) I noticed that the golfers before and after us drove on the same fairway and weren't given heck so maybe they need to go about this a little more politely. Over all this made our short round of golf unpleasant and not the friendly public course of previous years. We will not return. I think Thames Valley on Riverside is a much friendly course-I recommend going there instead.

Best Golf Deal in the Area - visit the website and see:http://site.oxbowglengolf.com/This is a family run business built on land once farmed. The staff (in the Clubhouse & doing maintenance), many of whom are family, are cordial and have their clients in mind. Golf rates are reasonable ($23 for 18 holes) with weekday discounts available to those buying a membership to golf before 10 AM and can be supplemented by discountsfor those joining the mens' and womens' leagues. There is a good supply of gas powered carts available at reasonable rates.Over the last couple of years, the course was upgraded with the installation of a sprinkler system, which keeps the fairways greener and more comfortable to walk. There are four tee blocks to allow for players of all skill levels to enjoy the game and there are accurate yardage markers along the fairways. The course offers challenges of mature trees, a stream running thorugh the property (in play on some holes), some sand traps, and some difficult greens to putt. The mens' league plays Wednesday afternoons. There are two womens' leagues, one Monday morning and one Tuesday afternoon. The owners' promote the leagues primarily as an opportunity to get to know other golfers and socialize before and after league play. There is a good variety of food available.
