well preserved limestone buildings. Parking difficult unless one knows where to find a secret spot. Streets plowed and cleared quickly. A better spot to visit in the summer. Drop in to CFRC101.9fm

Due to the weather we only drove around the University however it was beautiful. Lovely mixture of modern and historic architecture. It was hard to tell where the campus ended and the city began as it all blended together so wonderfully.

Queens is a university steeped in tradition but doesn't loose sight of the future. The campus is huge but the university spirit is even bigger. Great programs in a wonderfully diverse setting.

Great ambience, great lakeside scenery, great academic ghetto cocoon, great research and accomplished staff, great Ivy League vine covered limestone historic buildings, great academic standards with one of the highest admission standards.

I went to Queen's 27 years ago and went to the Queen's Fall Open House 2014 to check out engineering for my son. The Open House was fantastic !! From the campus tour to the engineering overview to the res tours, etc....all were very well done and we learned a ton about what is now offered at Queen's. Well worth the trip and definitely a must for anyone considering going there. Well done Queen's. It was great when I went, but things have only gotten better since that.

Queen's University is blessed with a picturesque location on the shore of Lake Ontario, blending into the surrounding residential neighbourhood. A large number of the campus buildings are natural stone, interspersed with newer buildings that complement their historic charm. All buildings are well-maintained and landscaped separated by green spaces with mature trees in the older part of the campus. It doesn't have the classic Ivy League look of the University of Western Ontario but it is an attractive campus and is well worth a visit.

University was just back so it was full of students rushing to and from classes. The buildings are all limestone from local area. A great place to stroll around

We did a late night narrated car tour of the campus and admired the variety of buildings. The campus is clean and well maintained. The sheer size of Queen's is impressive.

I travel to Kingston to judge sailing regattas at CORK. The organizing authority place the race officials at ques for housing. It is clean, quite, the staff is always willing to help out. Great place to stay close to downtown, bus service and CORK

Breathtaking campus. There is so much to see. The buildings are majestic. The art gallery is amazing.

Not sure why Queens is listed as an attraction. My two sons each have degrees from there. However, it was a lot of work. This is a good school that does not compromise on quality.

Apart from being one of the top universities in North American, it is also one of the oldest in Canada. It's architecture is Victorian, unique and beautiful. Goodes hall occupied by the commerce school, was inaugurated by Queen Victoria herself. If you are in Kingston you should definitely at the least walk through or drive through the university campus. It is right next to downtown Kingston. It is on the shore of Lanka Ontario as well.

I have always wanted to visit the campus and now I had the opportunity.I could clearly imagine Anne of Green Gables coming here to study

Queen's University is one of Canada's most storied universities and it's definitely worth a visit. The compact campus, which is a ten minute walk from downtown Kingston, is full of historic, limestone buildings. The university offers free tours Monday through Friday at 11:00am and 2:00pm. You can sign up online. A visit to Kingston isn't complete without seeing Queen's!
