51 years ago this week I was introduced to Pakwash Provincial Park as a junior ranger (Dept. of L & F). It was, and still is, a piece of pristine wilderness. The fishing was great, and likely still is a hotspot for Pickerel. The sundowns were fascinating and on some nights, we were treated to a colourful display of Northern Lights. We have been back a few times over the years because it is a place to enjoy nature and tranquility. I would recommend this park to any avid campers and to those who like to fish and canoe. Pakwash will always be in my heart!A. Avery (J.R. program 1963)
