We have visited here over the last few years and the number of animals has tended to decrease. It really isn't a zoo, just some animals maintained in a fenced in area of a farm. We only saw some deer, llamas, an ostrich and some other birds such as geese and ducks. There is no signage indicating the way to the "zoo" so make sure you know where you are going. There is a small parking lot at the end of the paved part of Hawkins Road. The setting is lovely and the owners have kept the grounds up which is a plus. When we were there some parents were walking their kids around to look at the deer which was nice for them - but this is not really a zoo.

There used to be more animals here such as the monkeys. However, it is located on a quiet, country road and it is still nice to stop and see the sheep, goats, camels, geese, etc that line the roadway in their enclosures.
