There are only a couple of marina choices in Gananoque, and, in my poinion, this is the best. Full service, including gas, diesel and pump-out. The showers are individual shower rooms with total privacy, and lots of hot water. Free for marina guests, and $2.00 for others. Many people come for a shower while their boat is on one of the moorings or docks in the Thousand Islands park. Hey....Ya don't want to be known as "Stinky". LOLThe floating docks are in excellent shape and they can handle boats to over 100 feet. But not more than one or two at a time, and they would need to make a reservation so that the large dock will be clear.The marina is a short walk from a couple of OK restaurants and the foot of the main street of Gan (That's what the locals call Gananaque, and you want to be seen as a local, don't you?). Farther up the street is a full supermarket. OK to walk up, but I always take a taxi back with groceries.Staff are usually students and are more than friendly and helpful. They seem genuinely happy to be working at the marina.I always stay there when in town on my boat.

Even though we arrive at 5PM. we were delighted when Megella still took the time to show us the Childrens Place and the Boat museum. Both are excellent added attractions to the Marina and really make this Marina one of best we have ever seen. Not only did Megella take extra time but her enthusiasm for the buildings and what is happening is a great asset to your Project. We also learned that there are 1,837 island ( definition of a island is land that is out of the water year round and has a rock and two trees). Megella said we were the first to ask.

The marina was quite busy on a beautiful evening in June. The nearby park and walking paths included a water pad for kids to play in the water. Park benches and even some nearby picnic tables made for a delightful, peaceful way to spend an evening admiring the weather and surrounding waterways.

The marina was an excellent place to walk and tour. Unfortunately, for a Friday, none of the local shops were open after 5 p.m.

This is a well set Marina with many activities during the summer months, very people friendly and have many overnight docking spaces available.

The manager Catherine is knowledgable and helpful. The "kids" do their best and the pump-out service is efficient and thorough. The marina facilities are clean and close to other amenities.

We walked around the marina. The marina was full of boats and the area was well maintained and clean. The park area was enjoyable and there was a lovely view of the harbour area and some of the 1000 islands.

Liked everything about the marina and launch ramp. Staff were friendly and helpful almost like having a tour guide.

The waterfront is very nice. Crowded and noise during the day when teens are out of school, but in general they are polite. Nice marina with friendly staff and fellow boaters. A ten minute walk to town on quiet streets.

Great location, great docks and wonderful area to cruise and stay. 5 Stars. Over 300 docks up to 50 foot services... 50 Amp hydro and water at the dock... wireless Internet

Absolutely beautiful, take a long walk around the marina with your loved ones, there's also a nice beach we didn't know about! Next time we will be taking a dip!!

We had planned on boating for 2 days in the are and dropped in to the marina to get some information, rates etc. We had to finally interupt the young gal behind the desk from her Internet browsing. She was anything but cordial and appeared to Be totally uninterested in giving information or in her job. The boat ramp looked very good as did the docking area but with her attitude we decided to go elsewhere. Wild recommend the Pecks Marina a few kms down the road towards Ivy Lea. Very friendly and helpful staff there.

They have recently invested in the waterfront in Gananoque. The atmosphere is relaxed and park like, with nice benches to sit and watch the boats, swimming areas, and a nice, covered band stand, right at the water.

Had a relaxing walk around the whole waterfront park and marina area. Grounds are well maintained and reasonably clean.
