Hard to find, but beautiful once you are there! The first waterfall is a 3-minute walk from the $5 parking lot. Lots of families swimming. Observation deck at the top before venturing down. Then walk about 15-minutes up the concrete path to the deeper pool with rope swings. No facilities that we saw, just an ice cream truck vendor in the parking lot. We went during the week and there were no crowds. But I would bet it gets crowded on the weekend! Worth the trip!

The waterfalls were absolutely breathtaking. Clear waters and very refreshing. however, it is a bit of a hike to get there. So I recommend not making the mistake we did when we decided to take our 8 month old baby. In order to get down to the falls you have to use both hands and feet to grab on to branches and ropes as you try to slide down on some really slippery grounds. Any kid over 7 years of age should be fine though.

When I first went to Gozalandia it was with my older brother and his friends and on the way there we almost got lost cause it was a lot of up and downs and a very small street, to a point that made you think that you had passed the entrance. he doubts quickly went away when we saw the entrance right in front of us, by that time the entrance was closed (it is now open as a parking lot) so the people that wanted to reach the waterfall had to jump the gate, which we did. After that we found our self in an abandoned park which we had to pass through to be able to go further down the mountain to reach the river. We went down through some slippery slopes and sketchy stairs that you had to step very carefully on, by then we could already hear the water and the people laughing. Then we saw it, a big, wide waterfall falling in a natural pool of water, we could already feel the chilled wind caused by the falling water. Everyone was having a good time, locals and tourists alike, we didn't waste any time to start running and jumping to that ice cold water. We did everything we could do in a place like that, we swam, jumped from the diving spots, hiked upstream and went to a small cave in the water. We had an amazing time in Gozalandia.

Only visited the first waterfall ... was lucky to get there when a guy with a Go Pro strapped to his chest when running by stating that he was going to jump from the top of the falls. I think he was American never the less "crazy". He jumped and survived but I would NOT recommend that... as for the swimming spot was great the falls were grand. Great photos.. But very slippery..

This is an amazing place to go with your friends or partner and just want to get out of the city and enjoy some of Puerto Rico's natural beauty. It has relaxing streams if you are the type of person who just likes to relax and bask in the ambiance or, if you are a thrill seeker, the waterfall make natural pools that are more than deep enough to dive, and so you can find various places that are perfect to jump from, ranging from beginner level jumps, to a 20-25 foot jump for the more seasoned thrill seekers.

We were lost for over an hour trying to find this place!!!! We asked locals for directions and no one could point us to the right place (me and my husband speak Spanish). Our saving grace was trip advisor reviews that gave coordinates to put in Google maps or Waze: 18.358268, -66.986489. These took us straight to the parking lot. Don't attempt to find this place on your own. The hike to the falls is tricky and not for anyone with knee issues. The first waterfall to me was a bit more difficult to get to than the first. Both are worth it though. The second waterfall has the rope swing which is so fun, even if you don't do it it's fun to watch others do it! We had a great time here. The parking attendant ($5 to park) told us they are fixing up the place and plan to offer better facilities as well as a better paved road to the falls.

Other reviews have had great directions to find these two waterfalls, and they were super helpful. It was clear from the parked cars where the entrance was (though there wasn't anyone collecting money when we were there), and then it's a little walk past an abandoned pool or something. We got to the bottom waterfall, looked at the slippery, steep staircase leading down to it, and decided to hike up 8 minutes or so to the top waterfall instead. Great. Decision. It was muddy on the hike up, but nothing that won't wash off. Once we got there....it was breathtaking. Sun sparkling through the falling water (right next to the main waterfall is a small trickle...like the shower you take before jumping in a pool), a huge rope swing that the locals were showing off on. So much fun. Then we traveled down the river, through the boulders and small waterfalls and nooks and crannies and came to the top of the bottom waterfall. Beautiful, amazing day!

This is a super inexpensive adventure of just 5 dollars to park. Unlike the years I've been there before they have put in a concrete path. The people that run the lot are always very nice and very helpful. What's nice is it has a rope swing at the 2nd waterfall. 1 waterfall is right by the parking lot and the other is about a 10 minute hike. We came over from ricon as it was about a 45 minute drive.

There are actually 2 waterfalls to visit here, and worth the trip. We made the 45 minute trek from Rincon. The first waterfall down the path is beautiful and you can swim in it. The second waterfall, also beautiful, has a rope swing and a deep spot to jump into. Be careful getting down to the first waterfall-- it's slick walking over the rock down the hill (there are steps down the first part and then a rope to hold onto where the slick rocks are). I recommend wearing tennis shoes or teva-style sandals. For the second waterfall with the rope swing, make sure you swing out far and let go (don't second guess or you'll swing back to the shallows). While we were there, there were workers putting in a cement "sidewalk" down the path to make it easier to get to the falls. Parking when we went was $5, I believe. We saw people on our way in and out, though we were fortunate to have the falls to ourselves. Felt like a piece of paradise in the jungle. It can be tricky to find this place, so I recommend putting in the GPS coordinates into Google Maps or Waze and it'll take you straight to the parking: 18.358268, -66.986489. We stayed in Isabela and though the 50+ minute drive was a little more than we bargained for, the falls were worth the trip. We met some helpful locals who showed us the ropes of getting there and then swimming around and climbing up to the best jumping spots. It was a fun time and we were glad we made the trip.

Stunning sights. It was clean and not crowded when I visited in March 2014. Pictures don't do it justice.

As featured in the movie "A Perfect Getaway" this is a surreal place. My recommendation is to wear clothes that you can either throw away or you don't really care that much because you WILL get mud and probably slip since is a humid way to go down. There are ropes to hold onto so try to get a good grip. If you go in your own car try to hide valuables since there has been cases of cars getting broken into. PLEASE if you go try to pick and clean-up after yourself, some people tend to leave the garbage behind and it really damages the beautiful beautiful scenery you can get there. By the way if you are curious whether you can or can't jump from the waterfall you can but is really really high so do it AT YOUR OWN RISK. So go and enjoy the waterfalls is really one of the most beautiful things the west area of PR has to offer.

The falls are beautiful. The pool at the bottom of the falls has some great deep spots that were perfect for diving into. It is not the easiest climb down to the falls but it is well worth it!

There are many great places to visit at Puerto Rico that still unknown. Gozalandia is one of those places. Gozalandia is a set of waterfalls located at San Sebastian. It's not easy to get there, but is worth. Going to this place is not something anyone can do because once you get to the surroundings of the waterfalls, long way is ahead and it has many obstacles. To get to the first waterfall we had to walk and then go down some stairs made of the same groud desnivelation and they were really slimy. Once we were almos there we had to go through a steep cliff holding to a rope so one would not fall. After the struggle to get there, one gets amazed by the natural beauty of the place. The air you breathe, the cold water and all the atmosphere sets the perfect setting to a great river adventure. The way to go to the second waterfall I found it hardest. The way is all cover by mod and it's easier to fall. But once you get there you enjoy the difference between both waterfalls and the geatness of the nature. For me this is a perfect adventure for young and strong people who'd like to spend great time with nature and won't bother to get their tennis dirty. I do not recommend this trip for senior citizens, children, people with medical conditions of physical impairment or anyone who does not like adventures.¡The experience at Gozalandia is great!

I like too visit it since I really like the real nature.I like to listen to the different sounds that there is in the Bush. The waterfalls of Gozalandia, also known as the oak pond. They are located in my town of San Sebastián, Puerto Rico. The waterfall is a great natural attraction that has become popular in recent years. It has been in the film A Perfect Getaway. Also recently came out in the channel of paste you a half day. So I have been told is a place for big fun. The place is quiet, safe and with a particularly unique and exquisite beauty. Place to spend it with family and friends. It has a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. You can bring your own food and other things. The only thing that you have to pay is the parking which is $5:35 dollars. Personally I like to make domestic tourism, so give him promotion to my culture. I hope to be able to visit him soon to enjoy the nature of my countr
