We visited here for a day last week. It was me, my husband, and our 3 year-old daughter. We had an amazing time!!! We travel a ton, and it was my favorite experience of any trip - literally that cool. My daughter had a blast as well! The stingrays are so friendly, gentle, and soft, and the water and staff are amazing! I even saw one of the staff going above and beyond to make the experience awesome for an older traveler who was scared of going in the water. Top notch. If you do anything on your vacation - do this!

We stayed at the Grand Pineapple and were picked up right on the beach and after about a 10 minute boat ride we pulled up to 2 floating docks out in the water. As we pulled up you could see the stingrays coming in from everywhere. The stingrays hear the boat motors and know it is feeding time, They range from about 3 feet across up to about 6 feet. Before getting out of the boat we were instructed on what TO do and what NOT to do as far as being in the water with the stingrays. These ARE all wild animals... they are NOT in a cage and tamed and come and go as they please. Once in the water with these amazing sea creatures they swim all around to and brush up to you. The worker from Stingray City have buckets of squid that is used to feed the stingrays. They instruct you how to feed them and what NOT to do when feeding the stingrays. The workers will also get a few of the stingrays and after feeding them they handle the stingray to get them and a calm almost sleep state so the guest can come over and hold the stingray to have or take pictures with the stingray. after everyone is done interacting with the stingrays you get back into the boat and go to the Stingray City shop. Once here the have a both to get either rum punch or fruit punch ( Be careful with the rum punch, It is very strong) You can then visit the gift shop, Go to see there many types of talking parrots or buy pictures that were taken while swimming with the stingrays. ( great pictures) we were then taking back to the Grand Pineapple and helped off the boat. It was a truly amazing 2 hour tour.

OMG we had the most amazing time. The team look after you really well and tell you all about the stingrays, how to handle and feed them. The stingrays are not in a pen and so are able to swim freely in the sea which is good. They are sooooo big and gentle and very soft to touch, they swim between your legs and are not afraid at all. You are able to snorkel and see the fish and the reef. Even if you are not good in the sea and don't want to get in you can stay on the pontoon and they will bring the rays to you to touch and see close up which they did for one of our group. We had an amazing experience not to be missed, thank you to Dijon and his team for the most AMAZING TIME thank you, thank you, thank you,

OMG what an amazing place and what an experience. Our boat driver Dijon was the total bomb and really looked after us and we had some fun on the where there and back. When we got there the sight was out of this world. The team are really good and tell you everything the stingrays are sooooo friendly and are an amazing sight. Someone who is quiet nervous round sea animals I felt at ease after a few minuets. You get to hold them and feed then which is an experience in itself. They even brought one up to my friend who is not good with the sea and was sat on the floating platform so she was able to also experience it. You get to snorkel and there is a lovely reef to see also. Amazing time and once again a trip that we will never forget. Carly

If you are in Antigua, take advantage of this. It's worth the $50.00. You are taken out in a boat to a sand bar. The guides are friendly and knowledgeable. A few people were scared at first, but the guides take their time with you and get you comfortable with these amazing creatures. You can feed them as much as you want. The water comes up to above your waist. This is great for children of 10 years and up. Back on land, they have clean showers to rinse off the salt water. My husband and I had a great time. We hired a taxi with our friends for about 30 us dollars so you don't need to book a formal tour. We came from English Harbour.

Well organised, very safe, very much something to do with the kids. Frolicking with the rays is amasing but if the cruise ship are in town forget it as it gets terribly crowded, but go early and you might be lucky enough to get the place almost to yourself and then its magique

I have balance issues and use a walking aid so I booked this through P&O Ventura for Antigua which was one of our ports of call. I was advised I should be fine but I went with a bit of trepidation and I'm so pleased I did.The crew were AMAZING. One guy never left my side whilst in the water, making sure I wasn't knocked by the stingray but could feed them with squid and got very hands on, being able to stroke and feel the rays as they passed. There were group activities which I didn't include myself in (My Choice) as I enjoyed the time I had in the water. I'M STILL IN AWE THAT I WAS ABLE TO HAVE SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE ALL THANKS TO THE CREW. The cost was £44 which included rum punch on non-alcoholic drinks at the end and there were toilets & cubicles to change from wet to dry clothing.

Been to Antigua a few times but never tried Stingray City before:We were on a cruise and organised the trip via the ship, but you can just get a taxi to here and pay as you arrive:If you want to get close to 'wild' stingrays this is the place:Suitable for all ages and confidences as you are boated out to the floating platforms onto the sand-bar where the rays congregate and then down steps into waist deep [warm!] water:Excellent well informed staff and an experience not to be missed: I never imagined that there would be so many rays all of whom just wanted to be fed the small squid that the guides have!Well organised afterwards with changing/bar/photo review area:Be careful of the rum punch!!!............

A party of 6 with 2 elderly parents and 2 teenagers this was fun for everyone. The on land training was enough but not too much to remember, the boat ride exciting and the rays delightful. oh and the rum punch at the end a welcome surprise.

Amazing to see stingrays up close. The staff are friendly. We did this as a part of the Antigua adventures xtreme speedboat tour.

Amazing to see stingrays acting like friendly cats and rubbing on you and wanting to be pet. The staff was friendly and fun. The fact that it in in open water makes it feel less touristy. Very cool experience but suggest you do it as a part of the Antigua adventures xtreme speedboat tour as the crowd is more manageable.

Great experience swimming with the stingrays. A low pressure experience, no one pressuring you to by anything. The staff were very knowledgeable about the rays and the area.A great way to experience the stingrays in their environment.
