Small beach with plenty of loungers - no one bugged us to buy stuff while there but some interesting art was being sold at end of beach.

Special beach at the foot of a free standing elevator to take you down from the resort on top of the cliff...great beach bar and fab. staff...everyday a BBQ on the beach at noon alternating, burgers, hotdogs, chiken pieces, pork and Piella...always with salad and fruit...see bridges to knowwhere, they are just to connect the islands and a place to stroll and work off the BBQ. this is the highlight of many highlights at Bahia Principe Resort.

The beach is small and is mostly taken over by the guests of cayacoa. There are a few local vendors underneath the bridge. I bought a few paintings from the Picasso de Samana. Highly recommended.

This is a public beach and also the main beach for the Cayacoa Hotel. Hotel guests reach it via a lift. Anyone else can access it via a dirt track leading around from Samana - it's impossible to miss. The beach has white/golden sand, but only quite a thin strip. Most is taken up with sun loungers, and a games area. There's a beach bar. There is a water sports centre which is only for use of hotel guests, at the far end of the beach. There is a lifeguard and a cordoned off swimming area. You can't swim in the un-cordoned off area. Snorkelling is poor, there's not much to see. There are some shingly parts so beach shoes are recommended. It's usually quite busy and can be noisy, but the atmosphere is nice. The 'Bridges to Nowhere' are accessed from the end closest to the town, you need to climb the stairs.

It's sunny, nice sand, good beach beds, even small gazebos, a on-the-beach-bar, simple lunch served. You don't have to go no where else.

My husband and I enjoyed snorkling on the beach and the coco locos served outside of the beach. Great experience!!

sympatyczna plaża z drobnym piaskiem i wspaniałą morską wodą chłodzącą skutki gorącego dominikańskiego słońca
