We went yesterday (2.11.14) we travelled from England to Puerto Plata to Santiago, in hope of visiting this 'amazing' water park... When we arrived, disappointment is a major understatement! They charged us 300 pesos (8 adult and 4 children) after our visit I wouldn't even go if they paid us! My friend (the only one who would check out the bacteria frenzi of a pool) has woken up with a rash and lumps on both of his legs leading up to where he got into the main pool (his waist)... There is no circulating water, the main pool had over a foot of water missing causing the filters to not work and the rope in the main pool was slimy with alge... We ventured to the children's pool hoping that they would have cleaner water (because after all that is why we went) and it was appalling. Alge on the rocks, on the side of the pool and God forbid if any of the children even went into the pool... I will never go here again, it was clear that the locals didn't oay 300 pesos therefore.. DONT GO HERE. OR RISK YOUR OWN HEALTH.

DISGUSTING, HORRENDOUS, NASTY, BORING!!!!! We went to the park yesterday, August 16, 2014. The park opened at 10am and we arrived at 11:15am. We had chosen the park after viewing their website. We fully expected that it would not be as great as the photos but I mean NOTHING was the same. First, when we arrived the name of the park was not even the same, they had changed it to something like Mundo Aqua Park, Second, several rides were out of commission, period, 2 of the slides were closed and we were told would be open in 20 minutes (that was 11:20am) and it was after 12:30 and they still had no signs of opening. My 6yr old and I went into the ladies room and all of the toilets were NASTY and not one would flush. We exited the DISGUSTING stalls only to find that there were absolutely NO soap dispensers and not one of the faucets worked. Basically noone who visited or worked there could wash their hands before exiting the bathroom facilities. Really makes you want to eat there, huh? We decided to give the pools a try. The kiddie pool was a little dirty with some leaves and cups floating around and the slides had absolutely no water on them so the poor little kiddos were getting stuck or burn on their legs from trying to go down them. We then went over to the pool with the diving boards. Well, it was FILTHY!!! There were tons of bugs, plastic cups and wrappers, hair etc floating around. We could not even bare to get in. We then went over to the larger pool near the pizzaria. It too was FILTHY with leaves, cups and hair and there was so much hair stuck on the ropes I nearly threw up. So about an hour or so in we were so disgusted we decided to leave. Only 1 restaurant was open and based on the cleanliness of the pools we definitely would not eat there. My husband decided we would exit the park, grab some clothes and go back in to change in the bathrooms. Well, we were not permitted to exit. Only the driver of the car is allowed to leave and everyone else must stay. Well, that was the LAST STRAW! We left and went to our car. I was FUMING!!! We went to the office to complain and ask for a refund and we were told no refunds are given and if we do not like it then we have no reason to return. As you can see these folks do not care about customers, cleanliness or health hazards at all. I would say SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My daughter even cried because it was so bad. She could not wait to get out of there.

Would not recommend the adult slides due to not be secure enough. On the other hand, the place is great for kids.

I went last month while on vacations Ander has change a lot I think it needs more care so it will look prettier but the price was really good and everything was okay

Not exactly a Disney water park, but a whole lot more fun than most anything else you can do in town.

i love coming here with my family. its so fun and refreshing, the music is wonderful and the resturant too. low prices, lots of fun. it has a kiddy pool, slow river, avalanche pool, adult pool, the best sprinklers ever! and lots of thrilling water slides. open everyday except tuedays. thursdays you can get a 2 people for the price of one. it just has to be adult - adult, kid - kid. only warning is the somepeople get reaalllyy hurt on water slides, so be really careful and precautions....have fun!!

this waterpark is awesome, everytime i visit my country this is the spot to go if you in Santiago, so many great pools, alot of places to choose from when it comes to eating and the people are amazing, the only thing i dislike is that it looks old, it needs some painting done and every time i go there is always 1 or 2 slides not working which is not good, also the stairs to get up to the rides are wood and slimy, they scare me, they need to replace them as soon as possible because they are dangerous, besides that, great place, great rides, and great price, just some renovation.

Needs major Maintenance repairs. Some rides are closed. Others need to be upgraded for safety reasons.

Kaskada Park doesn't only have awesome water slides. It also has a giant pool, it has shows, awesome food and 3 bars :) It's a perfect place for a family or a group of friends to go to. It's open everyday except Tuesday from 10 AM to 5:30 PM. Entrance is only 350 pesos per adult which is approximately about $9.50 US dollars. For kids (2-10 yrs. old), entrance is 250 pesos which is about $6.75 US dollars. This is only for the water rides/pool water stuff, etc. They also have nocturnal activities Friday-Sunday from 7PM to midnight.

Estuvimos en agosto de este año y el sitio es grande, con varios toboganes, zona infantil, vestuarios y restaurantes pero necesita urgentemente una remodelación ya que la pintura está descascarillada y se ve muy anticuado. Además algunos de los toboganes ni siquiera tiran agua para deslizarse, el agua está sucia, hay zonas con óxido, los vestuarios están sucios a la entrada te revisan los bolsos/mochilas para que no puedas entrar con comida y obligarte a consumir dentro, en las piscinas no hay ningún control y los salvavidas no se hacen respetar generándose aglomeraciones en las piscinas.No lo recomiendo hasta que lo remodelen.

Cabe destacar que al llegar a las instalaciones de lo que era Kaskada Park, me di cuenta que hoy en día se llama MUNDO ACUÁTICO, en el parque uno se la pasa bien... Pero por favor dar mas mantenimiento a las instalaciones.

El lugar es bueno, pero realmente el parque necesita remodelacion, pintura, y arreglo de escaleras de los toboganes, pero por el precio no esta tan mal,, pero reitero Remodelacion de emergencia

Saludos mi nombre es Lunisol Abreu es el día 1/08/13 de Hoy estuve en su establecimiento aquí en santiago al rededor delas 2:00pm con mi Familia y tuvimos unos cuantos problemas la cajera nos cobro 8 (16) boletas del dos por uno y nos entrego 6 (12) cuando me di cuenta me dirijo de inmediato para atrás para darle la información ella me dice que no que eran asi le saque la cuenta y me dice que no con nada de amabilidad y suficientes gestos de desagrado y simplemente me ignoro yo molesta me acerque a la recepcionista la cual muy amable me dice que va hablar con ella luego ella me dice que fuera a la caja que la cajera me iba a resolver cuando voy otra vez ella me dice que tengo que volver a pagar yo furiosa me retiro y le pregunto a los empleados por el Gerente o Encargado el cual NO ESTABA me sorprendida bastante caundo voy donde mi familia para decirle lo que estaba pasando mi tía enfadada va donde la cajera y le dice que nos devuelva el dinero ella la miro si se sonrió de forma de burla mi tía molesta le dice que es una ladrona uno de los seguridad al escuchar se acerco a mi tía para ver cual era el problema le contamos y el hablo por nosotras y nos ayudaron con un excelente servicio. A pesar de los seguridad nos resolviera a la vista que el Gerente o Encargado NO ESTABA allí es mi deber ciudadana y como cliente informarle la situación que ay allí se esta viviedo luego de que llego la Hora de cerrar hable con barios cliente y empleados los cliente todos con esta misma queja y lo empleados molesto por que por culpa de una sola persona el trabajo de TODOS se ve afectado de verdad que me gustaría que lo resolvieran y que le den unas clases a esa joven de servicio al cliente.

me gusto todo,el tobogan,la picina de los ninos, las tiendas de asesorios las fiestas en vivo. me gusto el castillo ,la rana, pulpo y el tuner de nieve , el bar .etc.....
