Beautiful building , great addition to Moron. Buses/ train services are not great in Cuba but the building is nice to have there

Moron is a town that displays it's former faded glory, as is much of Cuba, by unique architecture such as it's train terminal.So during December 2014 we visited and enjoyed a walking tour of Moron by my friend Sailys that included the Terminal. It is in a bit of a state of disrepair but the train still runs, which is a blessing for the locals.As mentioned by other TA Travellers, if given an opportunity do try to visit Moron, it's a trip back in time.Hola, Paul

You must take a walk around town , feel the local vibes , people are really nice , stop somewhere and have a drink with the locals and have a great conversation

I visited Cuba for the first time February 2014. I thoroughly enjoyed the day excursion to Moron. Coming from a family of rail-fanners I of course beelined it to the Train Station. I was quite pleased to see that not only was it still active, but busy as well! In the back of the waiting area is a service area where one can buy Beer, Water, Cigs or the little sandwiches you find every where (including the resorts). Along the tour was a inactive Sugar Factory (kept as good as possible for historical, educational and tourism) where there were a lot of Old beauties as well.

I was born there in 1960....I went to visit after 40 years and still as beautiful as when I left Cuba.....beautiful stained glass.....excellent nostalgia .....Americans are misinformed .....lift the embargo Now!!!!!

That title could be applied across Cuba unfortunately. It is still great to see these buildings 'in the flesh' so to speak despite the decay - it's like time travelling. Disappointed not to see any of the old trains here, but did see some in Havana.

As soon as you walk in it's like a scene for a movie in the 30's or 40's.A waiting room to await the train, a small bar in back to buy water, beer or cigarettes. I really liked walking around in there, it has a nostalgia feeling to it. I'm not sure but I think they have to hand pull a lever to change tracts.My dad was railway man he would have loved to see it.

Il est plaisant d'aller au centre ville de Moron. Il y a plusieurs petites belles choses à voir et aussi comment les cubains vivre. La garre est à visiter et un peu vieux.

In Moron gibt es nicht viel sehenswertes, aber der Bahnhof ist - auch für Nicht-Eisenbahner - absolut sehenswert. Es ist wohl der einzige sehenswerte Bahnhof auf Kuba. Das Gebäude selbst ist ein architektonisches Juwel. Vor allem aber sollte man sich etwas Zeit nehmen um den ganzen Betrieb, die Abläufe und die Menschen am Bahnhof zu beobachten!

Fuimos a visitar segun habiamos leido en nuestra guia de viajes a la segunda terminal de trenes en importancia de la Isla, fue increible, construida en 1923 mantiene todo original, los vitrales en sus techos son bellos, los bancos de la epoca, las taquillas, en fin todos sus empeados corteses y dispuestos a explicarnos todo sobre las locomotoras de Vapor, nos indicaron un lugar para vivir la experiencia del azucar, conocido como Rancho Palma, y un Central en ruina convertido a museo a 7 km de la ciuada, en un poblado conocido como Central Patria y no lejos de la ciudad, fue un dia inolvidable.

Construcción de principios del pasado siglo. Una arquitectura hermosa y un vitral espectacular. En el centro de la ciudad con un parque maravilloso al frente.

Este edifício tem uma bela arquitetura. Tem um vitral muito bonito e incomum dentro. Eu recomendo que você visitar se você estiver perto da área.

La ciudad de Morón tiene muchas coincidencias con Morón de Buenos Aires, una típica ciudad de la época de la colonia con gente muy agradable.

Moron è un brutto paese..l'unica cosa bella è questa antica stazione dei treni..vale una visita, anche all'interno doveha un bellissimo lucernario con vetrate multicolori
