Several dives were done here, as well as the main island. Better or worse? Really about the same clarity-wise, less small fish, more larger fish, including spotted eagle rays. There is a stand of staghorn coral that is spectacular somewhere near "Nearest Point". We never really encountered too many people and while a popular snorkeler spot, it never felt overcrowded. Underwater, we never saw another group the whole trip. Great trip, lots of pelicans!

if you are travelling to this island, you are best to take diving equipment. The seas are the clearest ever. there are trips to the beaches, On land there is a lack of interests for the non beach person.

This is not the place to go for sitting on the beach, but if you enjoy snorkeling or scuba, then this is the best! Beautiful clear and warm tropical waters, sheltered hard and soft corrals, and lots of fish, with a good chance of spotting see turtles. There are no facilities or shelter on the island, so no need to set foot on the island. Use the loo before you set off!Boat trips are available from the main island, with all equipment provided. Bonaire is one of the best islands in the Caribbean for snorkeling, with a protected marine reserve and about designated 80 dive sites. If you dont want to pay for a boat to Kline Bonaire, then thee are plenty of sites to swim or dive from straight from the coast, although you'll probably need to get a taxi.

Beautiful isolated Island. Regular water taxis bringing people from the mainland but it still managed to remain peaceful. Great drift snorkelling although slightly tricky maneuvering from beach to deeper water due to coral, would advise wearing reef shoes.Huge variety of fish to see though so def worth it. We saw so many sand crabs on the beach, they kept our attention for ages and there are hundreds of Birds living on the island. Be aware there are no amenitites available here.

No name beach can't be beat!!! You want wildlife? Check out the hermit crabs that live here, the ghost crabs, the fish, etc. the snorkeling can't be beat. There are no facilities here so plan accordingly. The kids had an absolutely fantastic time having the hermit crabs race and spotting ghost crabs. We took a nature walk around and there is so many things to see. The sand is so soft and white, and the water is crystal clear!!! Take the water taxi here if you get the chance. It's much easier than taking that pirate ship that makes you climb a rope ladder into a dingy.

Although the reef is visibly damaged and has a lot of human pressures the amount and variety of fish and sea creatures we saw more than made up for this. We could not help but feel sad at times imagining what the reef must have been like years ago. Maybe less visitors and less pressure would help the reef to come back.

If want an natural, unspoiled place to swim and snorkel, this is it! Its a short boat ride from the cruise pier but a world of difference. Having already been to Aruba and Grand Cayman and seen the high rise beach condos and the jet skis, this was the quiet beach we needed to go to. Take a water taxi and walk about 200 yards back up the beach and prepare for awesome snorkeling. Its start s only 15 feet out and then gets better. Beautiful coral and tons of fish and then a spectactular drop off that is stunning. Very few people on this big island and you can walk and easily be totally alone here. Not a single building, shop, outhouse or beach chair here. Pure sand and plants and lizards and birds. No shade either so be prepared. It was hot. Got a bit burned. So worth it though. I highly recommend it.

I can't say this enough.....if you are a snorkeler take the water taxi over by Karls restaurant...easy, and come more often to pick up and drop off. As you first take off from no name beach be prepared to be a part of the aquarium. We went back twice to make sure of everything we saw....from lion fish, barracuda, cuddle fish, turtles so much we can't even write them all down. Take a lunch and picnic there on Klein Bonaire. BTW Karls has good coffee!

The best snorkeling of my life. Breathtaking views of fish and coral. No need to scuba. Hope to do it again soon.

We book our snorkeling trip thru our cruise ship (Royal Princess). We went on the Siamese Junk Cruise to this lovely nature preserved island. Many turtles come here to lay eggs. When you snorkel you will see them. Coral reefs that are amazing and brightly colored fish. Do not remove the shells or colored glass, but rather enjoy the beauty of this "small" island.

Kleine Bonaire has some of the best, most private, coral sand beaches anywhere in the world. And great snorkeling. You can see turtles in the warm shallows, or swim out over the drop-off through openings in the elkhorn coral for a peek into the deep and amazing marine life! Get there by kayak (18 minutes over and 44 minutes back) or take the Eden Beach water taxi ($15 RT) to No Name Beach and walk to your left as far as you can go. Then swim further in that direction and look around. Bring a cooler of beer!
