We did this cruise thru CPH Travel. During the morning cruise we saw Dolphins - Irrawaddy Dolphins and finless porpoise! It was a wonderful sight, our boat captain was a very experience person. He showed us some jellyfish, kingfishers and crocs too! Had fun!!The same day we went for an evening tour with the same operator but it was disappointing , we did see the fireflies , one croc , proboscis monkey and a croc. but It was just all ok. The fisher village is strictly no no , there is nothing to see. Its filthy with loads of mosquitoes and dirty smell. Avoid it if possible. Its too much off a cost for the things we get to see, evening boat ride could be avoided!!

the first part of the trip on a boat in the middle of mangroves was pretty nice, also the dolphins view was good, but the islands themselves were not so exceptional and we did not even go for snorkeling as other people we met and just came back said there was absolutely nothing to be seen. From my point of view it is a too expensive trip for what it offers.

Kuching Wetlands National Park is amazing place to see wild animals. We enjoyed the River safari there and we saw Proboscis monkeys, Silver Leaf monkeys, myriad species of birds, crocodiles and fishes. We enjoyed a lot on this tour with our Tour Operator GoTourister.com.

We enjoyed the River safari at Kuching Wetlands National Park and we saw wired noses Proboscis monkeys, rare Silver Leaf monkey, mischievous macaques and myriad species of birds. During the river safari we also got the chance to see crocodiles and so many fishes. And at night, we mesmerized by the flickering lights of fireflies against the night sky. In short it was a great trip and Thanks goes to our Malaysia tour operator GoTourister.com. Thanks a lot for this amazing river safari and your great services.

Went on a river safari to see the wildlife in the park. We did see 1 crocodile, 2 dolphins ( for about 2 seconds) and quite a few monkeys, but they were so distant we couldn't see the weird noses on the proboscis monkeys. It was still a great trip, just dont expect too much to avoid disappointment. Saw fireflies too

This was the highlight of our trip to Sarawak. We booked a tour (something we don't normally do) and went out in the late afternoon on a small boat with 6 other people. First we looked for and found the Irrawaddy Dolphins then went to look for the Proboscis Monkeys in the mangroves. We found a few and were very close to them as they swung and sat in the trees. Next were the fireflies, looking for crocodiles on the way (unfortunately we didn't see them), but the fireflies were magical. We also saw sea eagles and beautiful scenery with a fantastic sunset, and as a bonus the orange super moon. Absolutely magical - don't miss it!!

We saw quite a few dolphins. Tour allowed plenty of time to watch them. Morning tours seem to be better for dolphin watching.

We went with the tour company CPH (they have their office near the McDonalds). The river cruise was quite expensive, 160 RM per person for about 3-4 hours. But it was really worth it. After a couple of minutes we already saw a huge saltwater crocodile of about 3.5 to 4m length, very impressive! And further downstream we were extremely lucky to see dozens of Irrawady river dolphins playing around. Additionally we saw a few other cool animals like mudskippers, little blue dancing crabs and fireflies. Our guide did an amazing job explaining everything and always turning off the motor as soon as possible to not disturb wildlife too much. Probably the best guide we had in 3 months Indonesia and Malaysia.

The park is only accesible by boat. One can see crocodiles, dolphins, monkeys and a fantastic sunset. Close to Kuching.

We went to see the wetlands in the afternoon and did the river cruise, please be careful when going down the steps to the boat and wear proper shoes, as my daughter had on sandals and the steps were slippery and she fell and grazed all her leg lucky everybody had some kind of first aid items in their belongings, but the sights was good, we saw the special monkey's with the long noses, we saw dolphins and fire flies and a beautiful sunset against the mountain in the background, the staff were great, would definitely go again.

There are these lovely boat rides by day and one by night. I tried both and feel that if you plan one for the early evening that overlaps into the night, you get to see the monkeys and dolphins as well as the night animalsChoose a reliable tour guide as the crocodile spotting depends wholly on a trained eye. We discovered that one sure-fire way to spot dolphins is to keep your boat behind a fishing boat. The clever fellas wait for the fisherman to discard the small fish from his nets and they catch them as they hit the water. The dolphins move in pairs, so even if you miss taking a pic of the first one, the second follows a second later...Every time!As the sky darkens you can see the lovely fireflies as well. Take something warm as it sometimes gets chilly

Took a local tour to watch the above animals in their natural habitats. We left by bus at 4 pm from our hotel to a Boat club near Santubong River. Manage to see the huge crocodiles at two locations. They were really huge and a sight to behold. Just wondering how old they were and the safety of those travelling in small boats. We were fortunate to chance upon some dolphins at the river mouth. We were told they are known as Irrawady's dolphin.Next was the proboscis monkeys foraging for food along the river bank. I got the impression that the monkeys were very clean based on their nice fur they have.A worthwhile trip and very relaxing. The sunset was very nice on the Santubong mountain.

We took an evening cruise along the Santubong River. Look for the mud skippers on the water's edge. On our trip we saw dolphins, a crocodile, proboscis monkeys and a firefly or two. I had been expecting a NP, so was disappointed to see that there was mining and villages.

It was a 2hr boat ride where we saw simply nothing except the tail of a crocodile. The Park is 'dead', no birds, no dolphins, no wild animals. They then drove us to a little village at the river, presenting (unexpectedly) a homemade dinner. The taste was good but they expected us to eat with the hands. Which would be okay if there was an opportunity to clean your hands before and after eating... The price of 155 MYR / Person is way too high for this unnecessary experience.
