Ca Mau is the Southest point of Vietnam. The scenery is really wild and natural. I have a lot of wonderful experiences thanks to all the fishermen here. I will definitely come back here with my future husband.

Mui Ca Mau, or also known as Dat Mui, is Vietnam's most southern geographical point. Many Vietnamese tourists visit that place to see the monument at the cape or the nearby mangrove forests. If you happen to be in the city of Ca Mau you can easily do a daytrip to Dat Mui by boat. There is a riverboat at the city pier that departs regularly and doesn't cost too much. The ride takes like 1 to 2 hours. As for Dat Mui itself, there is not too much to see. There is of course the boat monument and a tower from where you can overlook the coastline. With the entrance ticket you can also go see a nearby mangrove forest, which is more worth the time and attention. As I was there I noticed that I was one of the only foreign tourists there, the rest were all domestic visitors. There are also a couple of tourist restaurants in the area, but don't expect something groundbreaking here.In conclusion I would say that it's a place worth visiting if you happen to be in the city of Ca Mau anyway, but otherwise don't bother to come here only because of the monument.
