钏路市湿原展望台

这个地方的特色主要在于对钏路湿原有丰富的介绍，虽然名为展望台，但是在上面看到的景色却一般，钏路师园周遭还有很多更不错的展望台可以看。

The observation tower itself costs 450 yen and is a waste of money. It's one of those 'demon' projects that Japan likes. However, you can walk to the satellite observation point, which better views since it's nearer to the marsh, and is free. It's 1.1 km walk, and being winter it was a bit slippery but easy enough. You can't, unfortunately, walk along any of the paths through the marsh in winter, since they do not clear the snow.A few kilometres away is the wild crane (tancho) viewing area, and that was excellent. I'm not a birder, but these were rather interesting, and they were close enough to see properly.

Temperature was 2-3 degrees with bright sun shine. We liked a tiny train station, no staff at work but it was in good condition and very clean. The lobby of the observatory was so warm with a traditional fire place in the middle of the room. We had a great short walk up and down the hill, the area was all ours. Tree were with out any leaves, all brown branches. They must look really fresh in Spring.

We were there with fog. Can't see much. Due to language issue, I purchased the tickets and find out it is free to walk around via track. Two days later, we were back from Utoro, it is beautiful day. The Marsh area looks like same as we see many place in Australia. maybe it is good for city living people.

Quite an amazing nature reserve....the vastness of the open fields simply breath-taking. A 30-45min drive from Kushiro Town. Beside the observatory which has a token entrance fee, there's a nice trial that bring you to the lookout to enjoy the marshland. Its not a difficult walk (some sections with many steps) and its covers both a raised boardwalk and track. Part of the raised boardwalk is accessible to the handicap.

夏場は行ったことがありましたが、冬景色は初めてでした。屋上の展望台からの景色は、夏とは違い白黒モノトーンで水墨画みたい。夏とは違った雄大さです。遠くに釧路の街と製紙工場の煙突、その向こうに太平洋が見えます。冬は湿原内の散歩コースがほんの少ししかあるけないのが残念です。

観光バスで湿原展望台に着いた。＠４７０円を払い中へ。屋上から３６０度を見渡す。広大な湿原が広がる。遠くの煙は製紙会社のものだ。館内にはイトウも飼育されていた。

釧路市湿原展望台は、建築設計家「毛綱毅曠」の設計により、湿原に群生する「ヤチボウズ」をモチーフとした古風な西欧の城をおもわせる建物で、昭和59年1月にオープンしました。 　平成19年4月にはリニューアルを行い、「水の大地」釧路湿原を再現したジオラマ、過去に釧路湿原で捕獲された最大スケールのイトウ（2M）を再現した木彫、「四季の湿原」やライブ映像を見ることが出来る65インチ液晶モニターを設置しており、湿原の生い立ちや現在を見ることが出来ます。　3階の展望室はくつろげるように椅子を設けており、また屋上からは四季折々の湿原の変化を見ることができます。

本州では、ありえない風景を見て来ました。　　「これが台地だ！！」と言わんばかりの湿原やその中を、くねくねと曲がっている川は、一生、忘れる事は出来ません！！　　湿原の中をハイキングしてみたかったのですが、時間がなかったので、みるだけで終わってしまいました。

レンタカーで空港に向かう途中、少し回り道していってきました。さすがに利用者は自分たち以外にはいなく、ただただ寒いの一言です。季節によってはハイキングコースを歩きながら湿原を高台から眺めるのは楽しそうです。途中の道路は除雪されていて、走行には全く問題ありませんでした。

冬のバスツアー・ガイドさんのはからいでトイレを提供して頂きました。ありがたいです。館内の切手など興味深かったです。湿原内に木道があったので、シーズン中には散策の拠点や目印になる良い所かと思います。釧路湿原は、ほど近い北斗展望台より眺望しました。

時間があれば、湿原内を歩くという選択肢がありますが、時間の都合でここからの眺めを。次回はたっぷり時間を

タイトルどおり、行きました、ただそれだけです。会社の社員旅行で最初の観光地でした。展望台から望む雄大な景色・・・だけど絵的に面白くない。展示物はなかなかのものだが、数が少ない。時間の関係で遊歩道の散策はできず。総合評価は「一度行けば十分だ」。プライベートで行けば、違った印象になるかもしれないけれど。展望台だけなら1時間も必要ない。散策するなら２－３時間は欲しいところ。

ただし展望台にいかずに、遊歩道をいくには無料です。遊歩道を歩く時間がないならここからでも十分湿原を楽しめます。下の売店のソフトは美味しかったです。

行ったからには屋上展望台にのぼらないと意味がないかも。展示もそれなりにおもしろいのですが。展望台は上がってみた時は３６０度近い眺めに満足しましたが、あとから行った細岡展望台の方が釧路湿原らしいといえばらしい（湿原の真ん中なので）。ここは釧路の街を一望できる、湿原の東側にあたります。ここと細岡展望台と両方行ってみることをおすすめします。
