雪美术馆

我和我朋友特地去旭川市参观旭川动物园,但我们下午有时间,所以决定前往雪景博物馆,因为它也在同个地区。我极力推荐在旭川市有多余时间可以闲逛的人来这里。来这里有点挑战性,除非你坐环绕旅游景点行驶的旅游巴士来。我强烈推荐你们坐旅游巴士,因为你只需买一张全天的通票就可以在任何时间任何站上下车。不坐旅游巴士意味着你必须找到正确的巴士(即使你会讲日语你也会感到困惑),然后走到一座大山中途(巴士不会在博物馆门口停)。相信我,我们很后悔没坐旅游巴士。你可以在旭川站的咨询台查看环形旅游巴士时刻表,虽然工作人员的英语不是很流利,但他们态度友好,提供了很棒的建议,他们还告诉我们参观这个地区任何一个景点的最佳时间,听他们的建议吧,这是完全正确的。雪景博物馆没有很多英语服务,但如果你喜欢拍照,这里很适合你。博物馆位于山上,有一间小型美术馆、纺织博物馆(值得一看,要是有礼品店就更好了)和教堂,很多人在那里举行婚礼。建筑本身和附属的教堂很美丽,值得拍照。里面有真正的雪景,它被保存在冷冻展示区,背景灯是绿色的,所有独立的玻璃室给人一种真实的X档案的感觉,我在那拍照拍的很愉快。如果你是夏天来,我建议你穿一件薄外套,因为玻璃室里面非常冷。旁边是一个大厅,装饰有很多真的雪花的照片,很漂亮。这里还有很多中谷博士的视频,中谷博士是研究雪的,但如果你不会说日语,这些视频也没多大意思。博物馆末端是音乐厅和婚礼区,有很漂亮的壁画天花板,你可以在这短暂休息,坐着享受这个地方。这里还有个咖啡馆和与雪有关的礼品店,你可以在咖啡馆吃东西喝饮料。如果你在北海道有时间,而且逛动物园逛累了想看雪,我推荐你搭旅游巴士上山参观博物馆。我很高兴我去了。

The place is small and the ticket isn't cheap. BUT if you like to know about snow and enjoy beautiful buildings, then it may be worth visiting. It only takes 10 minutes to go in and out if you don't stop. That's how small this place is. BUT there are lots to see and observe. The building itself uses the snow motif (snowflakes) in many places like the shapes of the ceiling/window/staircase and a dorm with nice painting. There is a display of snow and icicles all year round in a huge fridge. There are lots of video displays on the topics surrounding snows. If you like to dig more, they show a detail work of Prof. Ukichiro Nakaya who studied snowflakes/snow crystals, inspired by the work by Wilson Bentley, who was the pioneer in taking the photos of snowflakes. However, most of the displays are in Japanese. If you come here, then remember to visit two more museums (dyeing and weaving fabrics) next door. You can purchase a ticket for all three museums together.

the buidling itself and the surrounding area are already worth to go especially during winter time with the snow falls...impressive presentation of different shapes of the snow flakes and some hugh ice blocks, plus a very romantic hall in the middle of the museum, the visit to the museum is totally out of all of our expectations! this is just marvellous!I was visiting this place in Feb 2011.

Nothing much to see and need to pay entrance fee. You can pay to wear some manga costume to take photo. But if you don't really interested, can give it a miss.

This museum with the snow corridor as it's centrepiece would appeal to most Hokkaido visitors. I can't think of a more comfortable way to view interesting formations of snow and ice. Our sightseeing cab driver pointed to an ice formation and informed us that it resembles Ginga no Taki that we viewed in Sounkyo Gorge just the day before.The museum looks like a fairy tale castle on the outside and every bit as grand inside with a grand winding staircase, lots of chandeliers and an auditiorium. There were also photos of the various kinds of snow crystals - eg. diamond dust, 12-edged crystal and so on. In addition there was a library and activity centre with lots of print and video materials on snow and ice. The grounds which it shares with 2 other museums viz. the Yukara Ori Gallery and the International Dyeing Museum was impressive and scenic.Certainly a nice place one can spend easily a couple of hours at viewing any 2 of the 3 museums. The museums were just a 15-minute cab ride away from my city hotel, the Asahikawa Grand. We chose to visit the Snow Museum and the Yukara Ori Galley on the day of our departure due to its close proximity to the hotel. I believe visitors enjoy a small discount when buying admission tickets for 2 museums.

Beautiful fairy tale castle and exquisitely decorated. Everything looks fine and well maintained. Friendly staffs. Need to have translation about all those beautiful paintings. Perfect place to enjoy taking more photos.

On the outside the snow museum looked like a castle, and inside it was exquisitely decorated with chandeliers, a sky ceiling fresco, spiral staircase, which all evoked the sense that I was in some sort of a fairytale. Not to mention the walkway through the ice crystals, allowing you to admire its beauty without having to contend with biting zero degree temperatures. Of the three museums in this area (the Hokkaido Folk Arts and Craft Village) the snow museum was the standout for me, but that's not to say the other textile museums aren't interesting in their own right. The Yukara-ori museum displays the traditional woven cloth next to photos of Hokkaido scenery which inspired the design of the woven patterns, which was a nice touch. Well worth a visit, especially if you have a car available.

It's a way out of place but u will enjoy the atmostphere and the surrounding of the area...fantastic...

螺旋階段や氷の回廊は見事でした。若い子が体験ドレスをしていて、嬉しそうに写真を撮っていて微笑ましかったです。雪についての上映会も知らへんことが分かって勉強になりました。他の美術館に比べて人が多い気がしました。

場所が比較的便利なので、隙間時間に訪問してみると良い。雪のなり立ちなど科学的な説明と美しい写真など効率的に短い時間でも楽しめる。北海道を科学する目でみていく良い機会だと思う。

螺旋階段で４階分くらい降ります、建物の都合上、エレベーターは、設置できなかったとショップの店員さんは、言ってました。雪の色々な結晶を興味深く見ました、でも、一回行けばいいかな。

アナユキの影響で急に混みだしたようですが、思った以上に広く綺麗なところでした。氷の回廊のようなところはひんやりしていてとても綺麗です。中のホールみたいなところではピアノ演奏が行われていました。

「雪ｱﾅ」で有名になり、今回行って来ました。お姫気分を味わえます。行った日は、結婚式が有り、レンタルドレスでの写真撮影は出来ませんでしたが、可能であれば、ドレスを借り、写真が取れます。結構式も出来、音楽発表会も出来ると有りました。ｽﾃｰｼﾞの有る所は、水が流れていて、川のせせらぎを感じ、何と言っても、音の響きがberrygoot,天井は、空をｲﾒｰｼﾞし、行って見る価値あり。ババでは、敵わない夢ですが、ドレスを着て、王子ならぬ主人(ジジ）と歩いて見たい。flute演奏もしてみたい。夢だけが膨らんでいく。グランドピアノが有りました。ﾋﾟｱﾉｽﾃｰｼﾞも素敵。行って来たばかりですが、再度行きたい所です。受付を済ませ、直に結構な階段、足の悪い方は、大変かと。見える所にエレベターは有りませんでした。

ネットで話題だったので、5歳の娘に見せたら大興奮。機会に恵まれたのでドレス持参で、旭川駅前の西武の裏11番バス停から路線バスで行ってきました。団体客が来る前だったのでのんびりおちつい落ち着いて観ることが出来ました。そんなに広くは無いので一時間位で大丈夫でした。

氷の廊下が素敵だなーと思いましたが見学施設としては見るものが少ない印象です。雪やつららのない地域からの観光でしたら新鮮なのではないでしょうか。雪国育ちの我が子はあまり興味がわかなかったようで残念でした。
