多年前因为汽车广告而著名的大树，背后还有特别的故事。同样也是蛮多人会来的景点，附近还有咖啡饮食店，在这儿除了来看看大树之外，也能在这边吃吃东西、喝杯饮料。

这棵树好像每个日本人都知道他似的，来了都拍照。我觉得可能他们的某个电视剧、电影或者什么上面有这棵树的形象，而我们没有这个背景知识，觉得没啥奇特啊，很平常的一棵树，大杨树，连树干上都长了叶子，挺好，但说不好哪里值得大家这么这么喜欢…

报名参加了当地旅行社的一日游，其中一个项目就是下车游览这棵树，貌似当地很有名阿，大家都慕名拍照。在夕阳映衬下风景很好。美瑛还有很多有名的树，各自有命名，非常有意思。

在大片平地上突兀地出现两棵长在一起的树，激发了人们浪漫的联想。这棵树是我骑了一大段上坡路以后看到的，在一片没有树木的草地上突然见到这么两棵树，确实有种惊喜的感觉。

这里不仅有KEN AND MARY TREE，还有一排七棵白桦树。MILD SEVEN香烟包装上的图片就是取景自这七棵树。那天去的时候天气很好，周边的景色也很美，随便取下景就是一幅WINDOWS的桌面图啊。

If you are a nature lover, especially trees, this is the place to visit. There is a resting area just next to the souvenir shop where you could enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding area, of course, complete it with a cone of lavender ice cream ~

It's not my favourite tree in Biei, but it's included in most tours and it's not hard to drive to if you have your own transportation.

Eat-Shop-See

Nothing special...seems that the trees are named so as to attract tourists to the cafe. If possible, spend more time in Furano. As mentioned by others, it is BEST to drive in Hokkaido.

Biei is one the most beautiful places I have ever been to in Japan. With rice fields (or whatever field it is), you see a different landscape from different angle. I don't really know how to appreciate the trees, but it is definitely worth a visit to Biei, whether on bus or self-drive.

The area is really scenic and if you like photography is a must. Don't forget also Seven StarsTree, Parent and Child Trees. A car is a must here and the places are well indicated. Don't forget also the Furano area with its lavander fields.

I was there in end June 2013. This location is perched on top of a hill and the view from this point is astounding. You can see the rolling hills at the foreground. On top of this, and to make this place picture prefect, there are two small gardens of flowers planted by the owner, who happens to have a café there too. One piece of advice if you are visiting Biei. Go and rent a car. This is the best way to enjoy Biei. I have seen some tourist cycling in the day sun and they are struggling because of all the hills they need to cycle up and down. All the tourist locations have map codes and all you have to do is input them into your GPS and it will do the rest. The GPS map code for Ken & Mary Tree is 389 071 727

Getting a good picture of this tree really need to have good weather or good backdrop like sunset or sunrise, or winter white. If not the tree alone is just another tree. The beauty of these trees is that everything around them are low height plants like flowers.There is a ken and mary cafe beside the tree location. You can enjoy a cuppa while enjoying the view.

パッチワークの路にイケメンのっぽなポプラがぽつんと。近くにパノラマパークもありゆったりすることができます！駐車場もちゃんとあります。パノラマパークから撮るケンとメリーの木も素敵です。

ただの木です。美しい景色に溶けこんだ木々は他にもあります。そして何がケンとメリーなのでしょうか、世代によっては分かるかも知れませんが、それだけに集中するのでは無く、一体とした美瑛の景色に目をむけるべきです。観光客が横断すると農作業の迷惑になるとおもいました。
