One of the best places in Almaty, the park is always clean and the plants and trees are well taken care of. Very nice place to have a walk in Almaty away from the traffic and pollution. Some scenic photos can be taken there.

Whether you want a space to think and ponder, a place to jog, a place to walk around in with friends or family, the President's Park's vast area can embrace everybody. It is more green, rather than structure-oriented which is what parks should be. I love visiting this place every change of season as its personality transforms too. I especially love it during springtime when the flowers are at their peak and the sun does not burn the skin. It makes you wanna get lost in the place the whole day. It is the perfect place to escape to if you are tired of all the buildings in the city. As much as I love it not being commercialized, I just hope they allow one vendor to sell refreshments and snack to cater to tourists. Locals would bring bread and drinks with them when they go out so it is not an issue for them but for tourists, it would be nice to have a stall to buy drinks and food.

The park is expansive. It has an air of elegance and abundance to it. Its beauty is beyond words, The botanical variety is just beyond words. Meticulous maintenance and artistic designs speak of a sacred place that is cherished.Perfect for a relaxing stroll, this park can speak to your energy levels and inner soul. Come here with at least half day to just relax and enjoy. Do come in summer.

this park is memorial for 1st President of Kazakhstan. Night view of this park is very spectacular and daytime it is quite good good for 1 hr trip

You can see the monument of the President in this big park with fountains and nice places to walk and sit.

A big nice park, although I wish there were more trees. Has nice fountains. A visit place on a marriage day, so expect to see lots of bride and grooms.

Sad that in order to create the current park, they needed to chop down all the fruit bearing trees there... That's all I can say as there isn't much there right now, other than big 'ole hype.

The most attractive thing in this park - Big musical fountain with color lights. It works in the evening, in dark time. Also, you can see President's statue in the park. The trees and flowers also beautiful there.

Really nice place to walk around trees and flowers. There is great music fountain, which works only in summer with evening shows. Not consistent with allowing bicycles.

Was closed when I went there. However the gates are the main attraction. Lots of families and couples taking pictures. The entry is set like an amphitheatre kind of style.

The park is located at al-farabi, corner novai street ( the street which goes up to Almaracan ) close to the street rosebakieva. The entrance looks very impressive - the typical kazakh neoclassical stuff - that may be the reason why a lot locals go here when they get married to make photos. The park itself is an assortment of different trees, plants and walkways and quite huge but to be honest: If you want to see the nature better to drive up to the mountains which are a 10 minutes drive away.

Very nice and well maintained garden. The snow peaks in the distance makes the place more enjoyable. The garden is well laid out with varieties of tall trees lined up. There are variety of flowers in the main thoroughfare upto the small stair laid hillock in the other end of the park. The place is very nice for a long stroll with wife or girlfriend. There is a very beautiful fountain and when this is operational, it is a treat to watch. The status of the President adjacent to this fountain is a must visit. What attacts most is the long semi circular pillars that covers the main entracnce of the park which is imposing and worth mentioning.

Отличный парк для пробежек и прогулок с детьми! В глубине парка есть красивый холм с беседкой, откуда открывается прекрасный вид на весь парк и близлежащие окрестности. Рекомендую всем погулять здесь!

Даже зимой приятно прогуляться в парке, где много разных видов растений, красивый "фасад" (вход), а весной или летом там, видимо, просто замечательно
