Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib is a fabulous place, coming under the 5 Takhts of Sikhism. It has a special significance with the Sikh community, as the 10th Guru Shri Gobind Singh Ji left for heavenly abode here. At this very place, the magnificent Gurudwara has been constructed. The Gurudwara complex is huge, with eye soothing gardens and fountains all around. The designs on the walls, carving, painting, etc. is sure to leave the visitors spellbound. There are rooms available for staying inside the complex which are far better than many hotels in the city. The cleanliness in impeccable and so is the peaceful and divine atmosphere. We visited the gurudwara at dusk, so as to witness it during the sunlight as well as colourfully lit during the night. The night view is simply spectacular. Outside the Gurudwara are numerous shops selling various souvenir items and religious books. One can also relish on chaat and kulfi amongst other Punjabi food items just outside the main entrance.

Huzur Sahib Shri Abchalnagar Sachkhand is one of 5 takhts of sikhism, this place is not as crowded as Shri Harmandir Sahib in amritsar or as big as it but the calmness and spirituality is same. One should visit Nanded to visit Huzur Sahib and fewmore gurudwaras only, else i found out no other interesting place in nanded

It is another historical Gurudwara Sahib of Sikh Community where 10th Guru (leader) of the sikhs Guru Gobind Singh Ji stayed for later part of life along with the followers and the city is now majorly known as Sachkhand Shri Hajur Sahib. Millions of followers of sikh community visit this holy place round the year but the best time to visit is around Holi or in Aug-Sep, the period when Guru Gobind Singh ji passed the Gurgaddi to Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji as our holy guru. This place has all the facilities for accomodation, Kitchen, Transport. most of them are free so that the followers do not face any difficulty during their visit. Also there are other historical gurudwara sahibs in nearby places one must visit.

The Gurudwara is amazing. There are very less words to describe the good feeling you get when you visit this place. A must visit. Food not available for purchase - it is free.

gurudwara is excellent and u feel in heaven there but if you go to nri niwas next to punjab bhawan. This will destroy your experience. I went on 24 jan 2015 at 1 am. I had come from canada with my family. I met a guy u claimed to be in charge n was very rude even at nyt he was unhelpful. Gurudwara comitte should fire this guy. he spoiled my mood n u feel abused ..dont stay in nri niwas stay in some hotel instead.

We visited Hazur Sahib thrice while our stay in Nanded. Historic Gurudwara is built nicely telling the story of Gurus of Sikhs. Once you enter Gurudwara, you get peace of mind. You also see the treasure of weapons used by our esteemed Gurus. The treasure is well preserved & worth seeing. We were blessed to visit.

If in Aurangabad, visit Hazur Sahib in Nanded. It is about 265 km but can take 5+ hours. Once there, the Gurudwara is 'takes over' - rich history, divine peace and you are 'one' with Him. The 'langar' is NOT to be missed. Pleanty of rooms but have to book online. Good affordable hotels available otherwise. Stay overnight and visit once again early morning.

Most important destination in nanded to visit.IT is ultraclean, made up of white sange marmamr...u cn visualize the clean white in any season. Staff is very co-operative. U need to go with ur head covered with some cloth, if u dont have it then the temple doorkeeper will provide u for temporary use for free. The shoe keepeing service is also free. There is a special and different aroma in the entire gurudwara which makes u very fresh. The prashad of sheera is very rich and delicious.U wish to spend more time in this gurudwara.I am visiting this from my childhood and never get tired. The shops outside sell many items beloging to Seekh religion but i always end up buying some nice new Kada.

This is one of the best places to visit in Nanded. The place is quiet, clean and neat. You would hardly see any dirt or garbage around.

Calm, serenity, peace n a feeling of being in touch with your inner core....these are the feelings and emotions when you enter the premises of the gurudwara. It's maintained super clean, unlike so many other religious places in India...no litter, gleaming marble across the expanse of the vast compound. Architecturally too , the place is very good n well planned. The gurudwara serves the traditional 'langar'...a free meal assisted by devotees. The hygiene and cleanliness in the huge food hall will put quite a few large hotels to shame. The complex has accommodation facilities of various categories.Unlike the past, banded has good rail n flight options making it not so difficult to reach.

Hazur Sahib, Nanded is for all. You feel as if you have entered a new world there. The place is quiet, despite thousands of devotees thronging it daily. It is also beautiful with wonderful architecture. The place is one of the most disciplined religious places I have ever been to. If one wants a complete peace of mind without any distraction, then Hazur Sahib is the place to visit. It is very accessible from the main city, and has thousands of rooms for devotees in the main campus itself. No person on the premises will disappoint you if you go to him with any queries. I will visit Hazur Sahib again and again.

Blessed to visit Akal Takht sahib, throne of the timeless one, and is the highest political institution of the Sikhs.I reached there from bidar, very few taxi run from bidar to nanded. Taxi cost is ranged at 2600 to 4600 depending on car.Outside Sachkhand premises at gate 1 there is a taxi stand, railway ticket booking counter, help desk and reception. There is market on left of gate 1 and auto stand.Online booking is done for Sarah/ rooms. AC and non ac rooms are available. Try to take room in Sachkhand bhagat. There is bus from gate 1 for local gurudwara sahib darshan at 9 Am. Ticket is 100 rs for that or you can take independent taxi which will cost 600 rs.
