We moved here to Belize in January 2014. Waluco's has been a place that we have received friendly service and great food! You will wait a little to get your food, but this isn't the states! The food is worth the wait. Everything is made fresh and they have one cook! Waluco's is one of our favorite places to eat. You can eat here for a family of five for $20 US dollars.

Had a great night with the local Garifuna Drummers beating their rhythms through the bar. Wonderful atmosphere, good food and drinks, which are all reasonably priced. Will go back again when they have the BBQ.

We heard they had good BBQ and did they ever! It's a little bit outside of town before you get into PG proper. Roomy place with a large screen TV, open air under a thatch roof. Service was quick and efficient and the food was great. I ordered BBQ pork ribs and was told I would get one and if small then two ribs. The wife ordered the blackened grouper WOW, what a taste explosion! I was brought one rib, HA, it was more like a rib chop, tender, meaty, with very nice sauce on it. Portions were better than good, flavor was great, the amount was satisfying. Their side of rice and beans was as tasty as it was abundant. Best meal in PG so far! This certainly should be listed as a restaurant!!!

We stopped by Waluco's after traveling to the Maya ruins nearby. Unfortunately, the time we chose to go, they were out of most foods. We had chicken fingers, fried chicken, fried shrimp and stew chicken. They had a large lunch crowd and only had fried food available. It took about 45 minutes to get the food as well. We went on to the chocolate factory.

This open air, restaurant/bar has a great water front location. Just relax and enjoy the breeze coming off of the Caribbean. Waluco's is a favorite of folks from PG and tourists. Some nights there is traditional Garifuna drumming. But mostly people come to eat, enjoy the view, talk and relax. It has a sleepy, yet exciting feel to it. I love the barbque chicken, barbque ribs, shrimp pasta, German Chocolate cake and carrot cake. Prices are reasonable.
